I just want to say a huge thank you to this piercing Studio. I visited last Saturday for a Double Helix Piercing which took 5 Minutes with much thanks to Ruth. From the start they were professional and knew exactly what they was talking about. Ruth kept me relaxed and was extremely fast and also talked me through the aftercare for my piercing. Studio 69 are competitively priced and really good value for money if you want a piercing that is done professionally. The shop itself is immaculate. I am also so impressed with the overall feeling of my piercing, into the evening on the day of having it done my ear did not hurt at all and now one week later it doesn't even have a single sting to it if I accidentally knock it or brush it with a piece of clothing. There has been no crusting, inflammation or redness. This shop is AWESOME!! And I think it is so important choosing the right place for piercings these days. Last week, I had my first ever tattoo and it honestly couldn't have been a more positive experience! Ruth chatted to me beforehand while I was waiting and put me at ease. Desmond explained everything clearly and answered all my questions before he did my tattoo (which didn't actually hurt very much). The tattoo looks amazing and I'm so happy with it. Everyone at the studio made my first piercing experience easy and comfortable. All the staff present (Ruth, Stefan, and Alex, who gave me my piercing) were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everyone made sure that I was at ease as I was particularly nervous. Alex was very professional and carried out the procedure with all the right hygiene measures taken, making sure it was swift and as painless as possible so that I would be comfortable. Both Alex and Ruth were very th...orough in making sure I was informed on how to clean my piercings, and they answered all my questions as well as providing me with printed guidelines for aftercare. After the procedure I was quite faint, but Ruth and Alex were quick to look after me and provided me with a drink to get sugar back into my system, they were very attentive and weren't prepared to allow me to leave without making sure that I was well again. I would absolutely recommend the studio to anyone for piercings, and would visit again if I wanted to have more in the future. I got my nose pierced here and after the guy at the front desk suggested (a couple times) I had stolen the whole peircing tray of nose studs (I didn't have a bag or a jacket on, it would have been impossible) he went back to the piercer and whispered something in his ear before he pierced my nose. It hurt a lot and wouldn't stop bleeding, he gave me a small bit of toilet paper and hinted at me and my friend to leave even though she was feeling weak after watching me get my peircing. They made it clear I was also not allowed to sit in with her while she got her cartiladge pierced but they said she was welcome to sit with me (?). The one positive factor was it cost £15 which is cheap compared to most shops although my peircing does still feel like it's at an odd slant after healing, I can't put normal studs in and can only use the one they pierced with as a result of their peircing technique. Not to mention they didn't tell me what size the stud was when I asked instead they told me "you should just come back here and buy one when you wan't to change it. I visited the studio today with my daughter as she wanted a forward helix piercing. The piercing was done by Alex, he was extremely knowlegable and the piercing was done quickly and  without any problems. The staff were all very friendly and the shop itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere.I would highly recommend this studio and will be visiting again in the future.I have been in other tattoo/piercing studios where the staff are rude and arrogant, you will not find this here.Great experience all round 5 stars! I've always wanted a tattoo...of course I was way too chicken for way too long. Not anymore :) I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new tattoo.I'm a student in Boston and was visiting some friends over in Walthamstow and this studio was just down the block. I walked in hoping to discuss what I wanted with the guys in there and walked back out with an appointment for the next day. Tommy ROCKS! :) He made my goofball tattoo idea uber cool....My tattoo is great and healed up well and the studio itself is small clean and modern...Now I want more ink but London is quite a bit away......
