I visited Skin and Ink last week to get a piercing from Jass and I'd say it was the best piercing experience I've had! She was very kind and calm and helped me to relax as I often get very nervous with needles. The place itself is very lovely - often I've been in tattoo waiting rooms that seem very medical and clinical which is quite unpleasant, but here the main room is very nicely decorated and comfortable. I can only speak for piercings as I haven't had a tattoo done here, but Jass seemed very knowledgeable and professional so I think this is definitely a place you can trust and I will definitely be returning when I next want to get a piercing ! :) Read Less

This tattoo place is amazing! I went there last week Saturday for my first ever tattoo and I was feeling extremely nervous but the staff were very friendly and provided outstanding customer service. Matt the guy who done my tattoo was very friendly and made sure I was relaxed whilst he was doing the tattoo he kept talking to me which made me feel at ease that I didn't even think about the tattoo and honestly it wasn't even painful. I had an amazing experience getting my forearm tattooed by Mon. She was recommended to me by a friend, and so I emailed her with initial designs and thoughts on what I wanted, and the stencil she sent me was exactly what I was after. This was not my first tattoo and I knew I didn't handle the pain very well which I communicated to Mon, and she was very sweet and reassuring. Pls read full review :) To be honest went there before, during summer last yet and the customer service was not the best like some reviews said BUT i think they have changed team and the new staff are friendly and welcoming. To be honest their website doesn't do them justice. They are really really good. Wlodek is a true master of the art almost 6 hours stright with a phoenix tattoo design he drew for me total custom piece and I cannot wait to go back to get it coloured in, so much detail in his work it is amazing I would recommend him highly as well as the studio itself . I had both of my two tattoos done by Hodge. My Mum (who hated tattoos before seeing mine) loved it so much she got one done by Hodge too. My tattoo covered step-dad got two done by Hodge, saying he was one of the best tattoo artists.
