I came here to get my front helix and septum pierced. When I walked in, I was kindly greeted by all the staff members. Everyone was so friendly and laid back. My piercer was Rick - he was so nice and answered all of my questions patiently and informatively. He was also very friendly, chatting to me while I was in the piercing room, making sure I felt comfortable and at ease. He also showed me all the equipment he would be using for the piercing, pointing out the sealed packages and the expiration dates for the products. The front helix was the first to be pierced - he helped me pick a nice looking spot for it, and the process was super quick and painless. The septum piercing was second, and the one I was most excited for as I have wanted this piercing for a very long time. Before even entering the piercing booth, as I was filling out paperwork, Rick took a look at my septum and mentioned it was slightly deviated, but that it shouldn’t be a problem as he had dealt with worse deviated septum in the past. However, when I looked in the mirror after it was pierced, I saw that it was very crooked and it didn’t look the way I hoped. Rick also said that he wasn’t happy with his work, and that it was a shame because the septum piercing is his favourite to do. We both decided it was best to take the piercing out after trying two different rings (first bar, then horseshoe). It was nice of Rick to let me see if there was any change in alignment with the different rings. Even though the outcome of the septum piercing was a huge bummer, I understand that these things happen sometimes. He also gave me a full refund for the septum piercing and gave me free aftercare product. Like I said, Not everything in life goes smoothly, but I just hope that I can have a septum piercing without it looking off when I eventually decide to get it again. I won’t go back here to have my septum pierced because I am just worried about going through the discomfort again only to have another dissapointing outcome. But that being said, Rick was an awesome guy, who also gave me great aftercare info. Sending lots of good vibes to all the workers there, and especially to you, Rick!
