This is a review in regards to my septum piercing that was done at The Grasshopper on the 23rd June 2018. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience and will never go back again. I already have and will further inform more people about my experience to prevent others from making the same mistake I did. This is the 2nd time I had my septum done, my first time was in a shop in Greenwich years ago and it was perfectly done however had to take it off due to medical reasons. When I came into the Grasshoppers shop for my 2nd septum, I was speaking to the staff, clearly explaining that I would like to have a septum piercing done however only if 1) it‘d be possible to hide it (due to work) and 2)my upper part (sweet spot) septum could be pierced. Although I clearly explained this, they told me this could me done but failed to perform as promised. Unfortunately, a too small piercing horse ring was used, its too small to flip it into the inside of my nostril so I’m unable to hide it for work, also my septum has been pierced too low. Makes me feel awful about it, also dissapointed as I trusted what I was being told. I mainly decided to go ahead because I never had a bad experience with piercings, until I got it done at this shop!
Alongside this, I went back to the shop to discuss the matter however the situation was being handled very unprofessionally. I explained to the front desk advisor that I’m not happy with my piercing and would like to speak to the piercer to find out if it could be rectified. He then went and informed the piercer, came back to me to say that the piercer is busy atm so I’ll have to wait, but also explaining that it can’t be rectified before I even got the chance to properly speak to the lady who pierced me. The piercer eventually came out and was just standing in the middle of the waiting room expecting me to comfortably discuss my concerns in front of all other staff and customers in the room, like we were standing in a show room or something. I had to myself ask the piercer if I could speak to her privately in a different room. The piercing room wasn’t even occupied, so this could’ve been suggested instead of leaving a customer feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.
When we eventually spoke about the issue, she then was trying to convince me that my septum can’t be pierced higher up, which frustrated me even more as I knew this wasn’t true, my septum has been pierced at the upper part previously without any issues.
I’ll be informing more people about my experience. This was a complete waste of time and money, not only have I paid to get the piercing done, but now also having to pay to re-pierce my septum.
Please note that I haven’t had any tattoos or other piercings done at this place, I’m only referring to their work and service in relation to septum piercings. If you want to get your septum pierced, I would strongly advise you to find a different piercing shop.
I’ll have to contact the shop to request for a refund. I’ll update this review after this.

This is no exaggeration. I found some of the stuff very unhelpful. They seem to be very happy to take your money and not sit with u and work on your tattoo idea. I had some parts on my tattoo that was unfinished and lacked the detail that i saw in there portfolio. I have now had to go to another tattoo artist whos track record is alot better to improve what they have done. I wish i had researched better before choosing grasshopper

Thanks to all the brilliant staff really know what they are doing such a clean studio had semi permant make up done by Julie absolutly amazing lady listens to what you want and guides you. Pericing is brill take their time with you and offer re-assurance. Tattoo's are brilliant had a few done by different stafff and i have to say they all make you feel relaxed and have a laugh with you. Most important to me is the studio hygeine.. Top marks in my book been to some not so clean studio's . 100% reccomed x

Very friendly service went in to enquire about a tattoo never had one before. Was met by a very friendly member of staff who talked me through my design advised me on location and size. Once that was all agreed had a 15 min wait while he set up his equipment. Once I sat down on the chair for the tattoo he could tell this was my first tattoo and reassured me on how easy it is even compared the pain to a cat scratch. He started with a dot and waited for my reaction once he saw I was ok a comfortable started propperly. 30 mins later I had my tattoo and was very happy even his advice on aftercare was good was told to ring in or come in if i have an issue gave me his card so i could ask for him. didn't have a single issue. Left this review 6 weeks after getting my tattoo.
Highly recomend this place.

I had my second and third ear piercings done here. I had previously had my ears stretched and I was worried about getting them pierced by someone who did not have experience working with that kind of scar tissue (i.e. Claire's Accessories). The woman who did my piercings did them all within about 10 mins, and did not let me see where she was intending to pierce before starting the piercings. All 4 were wonky and uneven, and did not match on each side. I kept the studs in for over 3 months, and they stayed infected for this entire time. I contacted Grasshopper via email, as they have the address on their website. I received no reply. I would not recommend this studio to anyone I know. Further to this, the lady who did my piercings gave me her private phone number and said that she did private piercings in her home, and that she would undercut Grasshopper's prices for me as a 'special deal'. The most unprofessional piercing experience I have ever had. A complete waste of money, time, and left me with painful, infected piercings. I have other piercings and experience of looking after them, and kept them flawlessly clean at all times, so I can only blame the woman who pierced me for this. I can only hope that this experience was a one off for me, for the sake of other people who wish to be pierced here.

I have had all my tattoos and piercings done at The Grasshopper. Staff are always helpful and attentive. Real friendly atmosphere in the shop, nice to have a laugh and a giggle when you're sitting through a couple of hours of pain :) Shop is always clean and staff are always following appropriate procedures for cleanliness and health and safety etc. Definitely recommend this shop to anybody who is contemplating a tattoo or a piercing :) x

Went to get my tattoo done at grasshopper for the first time by Gianluca. Everyone was friendly when walking in... Me and my two sisters went here to have a family tattoo for my 18th we got a lovely oak tree style design and the artists were amazing, so friendly and listened to exactly what we wanted. The tattoo was priced brilliantly and even recommended locations for the tattoos. We are more than impressed and would recommend the studio to anyone. Thank you to all the artists who took care of us! And we will be seeing you soon!! Thanks guys! Xx

Really disappointed this time - myself and my daughter have had quite a few piercings done here by Chris, who is fantastic and we have had no problems. Today we came in as my daughter has been saving up to get her tragus done. She is 14 so I came with her, only to be told that the rules had changed in April and under 16s can't be pierced by a needle at all even with parents consent. I have just checked with my friend who is a tattooist/piercer and this is not the case. If you didn't want to do it you should have just said. Her helix was done by Chris no problem on 10th august this year,when apparently the rules changed in April. So either you're breaking your own rules or the lady today was fobbing us off. Shame as I used your shop quite regularly. Won't be back!

This is a review in regards to my septum piercing that was done at The Grasshopper on the 23rd June 2018. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience and will never go back again.
