Came here last year on a one off to get my first tattoo. Was a busy day outside and two artists were outside soaking up the sun so I was greeting by the youngest who seemed quirky and a little nervous. Thinking he was just being quirky I continued with the paperwork. Had the tattoo placed on the back of my neck. The outcome was messy butterfly with wiggly lines and scratchy shading where he'd been shaking. I have a child's doodle on the back of my neck. Worst experience ever. Shop should be closed down. I was tattooed by Seth, the idiot who rides around town on a trike. He'd been in the pub and had likely had too much to drink. The tattoo took about 30 mins to do when in fact it should have taken at least two hours. Poor line work, horrific shading and a tattoo that looked like a child had done it. He also told me to use Savlon on it. It was my first tattoo so I was naive and had no idea how bad it actually was until I started to speak to other tattooists. I had this mess on my arm for years until I had it re-worked by an artist who actually had some skills. These days it all blends into my sleeve but I still have the photos of it being done and the actual end result, as a reminder to always research the artist and studio before you get inked. Old Town Tattoo, or Tattoo Emporium... or whatever silly name they have these days is a JOKE. I know many people who had similar experiences and the bottom line is this... if you are serious about tattoos and want something amazing that will last a lifetime, DON'T GO HERE! Read Less
