I have gone to Abacus for years for piercings - always found the team welcoming and piercings have been great. Yesterday I went for some tattoos… they are absolutely awful. They were simple linework and fonts, nothing complex. The lines are visibly wobbly, tattoos are not level, letters are different sizes, I had a small eye and it is deformed and I had a rose - the thorns are round, the stem is shakey. I wish I could attach photos to this review because it is clear to see how poor they are straight away. I contacted the studio the next day and they said they cannot refund. I paid £150 for a selection of small simple tattoos and they look awful! I am going to have to pay for laser removal of some because there’s no way they can be rectified and for two I’m going to have to pay for them to be fixed elsewhere. What a waste.

I paid £45 for a septum piercing and snake bites. They used bars that were too small for the snake bites, and one fell out, so I returned and kindly asked them to screw it back in and was told to pay ...
I paid £45 for a septum piercing and snake bites. They used bars that were too small for the snake bites, and one fell out, so I returned and kindly asked them to screw it back in and was told to pay £1 for the gloves etc. so I refused and was told rudely to leave by one of the employees. Luckily I had taken my anti-psychotics as I have psychotic tendencies and do not like it when people treat me like an idiot and try to play me for a fool. I would avoid Scabacus, as I went to Salamander just across the road and they did it for free and booked me in for a tattoo. I was disgusted and my artwork alone is superior to their tattoo designs. Give Abacus a wide berth and go to Salamander!!!

I've been going here for years, I actually make a 120 mile round trip to see them. That should really tell you everything!
They guys there are great, got great advice in a really friendly atmosphere.

What's more, my 7 year old colour sleeve amazes people at how bright it is still.

I have gone to Abacus for years for piercings - always found the team welcoming and piercings have been great. Yesterday I went for some tattoos… they are absolutely awful. They were simple linework and fonts, nothing complex. The lines are visibly wobbly, tattoos are not level, letters are different sizes, I had a small eye and it is deformed and I had a rose - the thorns are round, the stem is shakey.
