I will go back to Mat every time, whenever I feel inspired to get a decent quality, detailed tattoo again. Why? Today, I've had the greatest luck of all to meet Mat at North Star in Harrogate and get inked by him. What happened in the studio? I couldn't have asked for a better tattoo artist. Very patient, extremely talented with his pencils, and the use of needles and inks. Truly, he is somebody to go to if precise hand and eager ear to listen to you vent is what you are lo...oking for. If you keep still for Mat, you'll look back on time you have spent with him with awesome tattoos as well as fond memories and, just like me, you'll want to get another tattoo therapy session with him. I stumbled across Mat's work on Facebook and liked his style, so I made an appointment to see him about a cover up. I've now had four sessions and I won't go anywhere else. Mat is a true artist, each piece is custom designed and he puts so much effort into his work. He's a perfectionist and has an awesome style, he's laid back, caring and is a genuinely nice guy. I can highly recommend him.

Without a doubt my favorite experience getting tattooed. Mat is just lovely and understood exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't of managed 5 hours had I not felt so relaxed and comfortable. Can't recommend this place enough....I'm going back to staring at it in the mirror :)

Today, I've had the greatest luck of all to meet Mat at North Star in Harrogate and get inked by him. What happened in the studio? I couldn't have asked for a better tattoo artist.
