Fab place and amazing helpful staff, always took care of me when in for piercings, gave me all the info needed when having them done and always kept me calm. I had my Ear pierced here after hearing good things about the place. The guy who did my piercing was lovely and did a great job I have no issues with him at all BUT the customer service from a girl with short dark hair and dressed in a hoodie who was working behind the till was appalling. She was rude as soon as I arrived and did not make me feel welcome at all. She had an attitude like she just didn't want to be there and when I asked a question about the said piercing she rolled her eyes and spoke to me as if I was thick! I filled the consent form in as asked, and then I asked her if they took card payment. She said no, so I said I would go and draw some cash out. The man who was to do my piercing then came out and said is she ready to go? And the rude young lady said rather loudly and in front of other clients, who were sat waiting 'nope she hasn't even paid!' Major lack of customer services here and and when I left after my piercing I said 'bye, thanks!' And got totally ignored by her. I decided I wanted another tattoo 🙈 designed it and rang to see if they had availability to which they said yes. Went and had the tattoo done yes it was a quick job and tattoo came out as I designed it but the service from the staff was shocking very unwelcoming. A lady who gave me the sheet to sign sniggered at my design. My picture my money my design doesn't matter what you think. 100% I won't return to be treated like that I should of walked out of the door straight away rather than go ahead and give them my money from now on no more quick tattoo ideas I'd rather wait 6 months for my professional tattooist as alreast he makes you welcome and doesn't rush a job! Amazing Friendly Place, exceptionally Clean & tidy it's the only place in Chesterfield I've seen with the Councils 4* Hygeine Rating .. did lots of research before choosing Pierce of Art as I'm not from here ... I wanted the best by the best ..... in my opinion I choose well ... Got my nose pierced here by the man, ring too small was pulling on my nose causing pain and ultimately infection had to take it out as I couldn't even smile without shooting pains from my nose to my eye. Got both my nipples pierced by the woman after thinking that must be a one off, one was ok, the other one was way too deep and the bar jewellry too small... 6mm smaller than it should've been. Caused me pain and open sore piercing wound being squeezed, nipple was infected for 4 months and even started to grow around the piercing, nothing was done the forst time I went in. Had to have antibiotics after I went and got the bar changed second time, I was not offered an apology. 3 of my girlfriends have had the same problem with their nipple piercings being too deep resulting in them all having to remove the jewellery without refund, 2 had shooting pains up their arm from it and were advised by gp to take it out and make a formal complaint against pierce of art. Both my mum and I had piercings done here, my mum's first after her lobes when she was little. Wayne was absolutely lovely and we both felt really at ease. The studio is really clean and everything was very hygienic. Our piercings are healing well.Read Less
