Hi! Just an update on the piercings I got about 3 weeks ago! I got a daith pierced as I suffer serious bad migraines a couple of times a week and I heard the daith piercing works wonders..... I can happily say that in 3 weeks I have had one MILD headache and no migraines. I'm absolutely delighted as they were taking over my life. I was a little sceptical at first about getting a piercing. I was suffering for 5 weeks with migraines and had read online that a daith piercing can help. I had been taking pain killers every day for 5 weeks and felt I had nothing to lose at that stage so I decided to go and get it done. I have to first say that China (the piercer) didn't try to sell it to me as a cure which I thought was honest of him. I went up and China explained everything to me before the procedure. He... made me feel very comfortable and at ease and told me what level of pain to expect etc. The piercing itself was only painful for a few seconds and was pretty straightforward. I was actually suprised at how hygienic the studio was and how professionally the whole procedure was. A few weeks on from the piercing and I have to say, it hasn't cured me completely, but I went from having daily migraines/cluster headaches and feeling depressed to maybe 1 or 2 in over a month. Overall I am very happy and glad I got it done, apart from the odd bit of grief from the boys, I would highly recommended it to anyone considering an alternative treatment to headaches. What's the worst that can happen? If it doesn't work, take it out. I'm planning on getting a more discreet ear-ring once it is fully healed so it will be barely noticeable. Thanks China .
