Alternative Ink is a custom tattoo studio, currently with two artists and one apprentice. We cover all styles of tattooing and work with our clients to give you the best possible tattoo. We do not price over the phone or via social media we like to see our clients and give advice and develop designs before pricing or alternatively design within given price limits. So call in and have a chat with us, we would love to see you!

Got my first tattoo after visiting the shop with a friend. The staff are passionate about what they do, and are more than happy to talk to you about questions or concerns you may have. Genuinely nice people, and the place has a nice atmosphere.

I walked in without an appointment and asked if someone could do a Tattoo for me to remember my first trip ever out of the states. Shane said he could do it in a couple of hours. I went back and had the best time. He did a fantastic job and the crew were amazing. I'm so honored to have had him do something so special for me. If I lived here I would definitely go back!

Shane is beyond the pale of a Tattooist he is a visual artist and genius at his work The work he did for me re my tribute Elvis portrait is a work of Art a masterpiece with the most amazing attention to detail I am bewildered to know how he can achieve such fine minute but so important detail within the body of his work .Cannot recommend him enough a cool guy and a Bowie fan what else does one need .

Thanks again Shane for another great piece of work today. Would recommend everyone I meet to go to alternative ink. Never had a better tattoo experience and this is my 3rd with Shane. I always try to keep my tattoos personal and with meaning and they all come out detailed and better than I imagined.
