I had my tattoo done by Georgi over 6 months ago now. She was amazing and listened to my design ideas to create the perfect design for me and I am completely in love with it! She sent me ideas before my session and on the day was still happy to be resizing and playing with colours until I was completely happy with everything. I'll be honest... There was a little miscommunication in the early days when I first approached Atelier Four for my very first (ever) tattoo, but this is a five star review so please, take it from me, once the problem was identified it was handled perfectly. The professionalism with which this nervous, and very picky customer was treated was nothing short of exemplary. Tattoos are a very subjective thing. What I like, you may not, and vice versa. So please don't look at my tattoo and think that this is the best they can do. Let me assure you that this tattoo is PRECISELY what I wanted. Yes, I'm one of THOSE customers, for whom a tattoo is not something to be done on a whim. Matt and the other wonderful people at Atelier Four respected this about me and allowed me the time and the space to be not only utterly specific about my tattoo ("he's got to be big, forward facing, no lines must touch, he must be easily identifiable from a distance, oh, and he MUST be friendly looking at the same time as being powerful") but also absolutely sure that I wanted it done. If this is also your very first tattoo, and you're scouting the reviews to find some confidence in Atelier Four, look no further. I looked for a while for a tattooist to cover an old tattoo. I was super picky as i immediately regretted my old tattoo (obviously done elsewhere) and didn't want to make the same mistake again! After my consultation Matt designed a tattoo and tweaked the design until it was perfect (sorry for being fussy :-) ). I am absolutely in love with my new tattoo, i never imagined it would look so beautiful. The studio is welcoming and very clean. All staff were super friendly and made me feel at ease. Her attention to detail is incredible I knew my tattoo would look good but she blew my expectations away, not only that I felt comfortable with her, she stayed late to finish and got me through the last hour of pain and put up with all of my moaning and wimpiness! This was my second tattoo with Radu, first one on Atelier 4. Really nice studio, clean, open spaces, welcoming atmosphere, nice decor. Great people, everyone on the team is super nice (and talented!) and were a pleasure to chat to. Great music too, which in my opinion is very important if you're gonna endure or enjoy it for up to 8h! But most importantly, my god the quality of the work! As I live quite far, we had discussed the design via messages before and on the day we sat... down and went through some photos and ideas until we were both happy with it. And what a pleasure it is to watch Radu work! Such a brilliant artist. The way he adds shades, definition, details... every tattoo I've ever seen from him is a masterpiece and it's amazing seeing them come to fruition. I was told of Radu's work by a friend, and after a bad experience at another tattooists I went along to meet with him, he took plenty of time to speak with me about my chosen design and after looking at his portfolio I was very impressed with the quality work he does, I booked an appointment to get started and after 6 sessions I now have the most amazing sleeve, I could not be happier with the work I've had done he is truly an artist! From the minute you walk into the Studio all feels very welcoming, clean & comfortable. Staff are all fantastic and immediately put you at ease. Great atmosphere in the Studio! All of the Artists here are very talented and some of the best in Cornwall, such a versatile studio having 4 Artists specialising in different styles.
