I can't recommend this place highly enough. My tattoo was designed and inked by Eve, who took what was a pretty crappy, half-arsed collection of vague ideas, came up with something I really love and coloured it in a really subtle but effective way. Got a tattoo done here by Dan last week and I love it. Iv had a few tattoos done before in different places and never been back to the same place twice but im all booked up with dan again for a few weeks time for a another and will be going back here for all my future tattoos. The artisits are really good and the atmosphere in the place is great. So welcoming and they just have a laugh with u. It totally helps to take your mind off the pain. What can be said about kaya it defo the best place in Glasgow to get some ink in ye , the top dog paul Hamilton is by far the the best tattoo artist in Glasgow his dark black and Gary stuff is just amazing ,the staff are great and really friendly make you feel welcome and very relaxed from booking to gettin in the seat , I would recommend anyone thinking about getting inked or wanting inked to go here first . Today was a red letter day for me - I had my first tattoo done! I'd been thinking about it for quite some time and put a lot of research into finding a parlour that I was comfortable with. As a avid user of Yelp I used this marvellous tool to find such a place. Kaya Tattoos stood out immediately from the wonderful reviews others had given it. Everything Kitty and Emma say is true - Kaya is a marvellous place. They immediately put me at my ease, especially the front of house and trainee chappie, Dougie - who was full of beans and told such hilarious stories to take my mind off my anxiety. My tattoo artist, Miranda, is lovely and her work is just breathtaking. She really listened to what I wanted and was able to interpret my rather uncertain ideas into a piece of art. I was able to take as many breaks as I wanted and they really made my first tattoo experience a positive one! It's perhaps not the cheapest place (my tattoo cost £70) but like Emma says it's 100% worth the amount you pay for the quality of the ink and work, and the outstanding level of customer service you get. I would recommend this parlour to anyone and I'll definitely come back here again the next time I want to get inked! Read Less

If you are thinking of getting "inked" this is the place to go. Kaya tattoos has been around for several years and main man Paul Hamilton has years of experience under his belt. The shop itself is quite small with several booths up one side where the Artists create their masterpieces. All staff really do care about your experience with them, if you are going for your first Tat then i recommend this place as they will work at your pace and stop for wee breaks if you need it, you might even get a cup of tea. The standard of the art work is out of this world, and they will work with you on your design so you get exactly what you want. Kaya has Inked many friends and family members of mine and i can say that they all agree with me when i say that Kaya is the best tattoo parlour in Glasgow not just for the standard of work which is top class but the whole experience and customer care is outstanding.
