Kenny has done tattoo work for me for the last decade - he's the only artist in Scotland I'd think of going to. The whole team are incredibly welcoming and create a really good atmosphere to be in. They have really diverse portfolios, so you'll certainly find the style you want. The whole studio is really hygienic, safe and professional. Others tell me that Fiona and co are the best to go to for piercing too. Overall, I wouldn't go anywhere other than Land Ahoy for tattoos. Read Less

I had my first tattoo done yesterday by Roberto at Land Ahoy. Since he talked me out of getting a huge dreamcatcher in the middle of my forehead I opted for a ship on my chest instead. What can I say about the whole experience? Well I reckon I would've been hard-pressed to go anywhere better. Not only is Roberto first-rate in my opinion but I also saw the other artists at work and they are all talented individuals. I'll be honest, I hadn't even as much as stepped foot inside a tattoo parlour before yesterday but this one seemed very clean and very well-run.
