Well my arm piece will soon be finished by Jo. Ive been in the shop 4 times now and i have to say i have loved the whole experience of it. The staff are all awesome to get along with, the environment is very clean with an excellent quirky decor...oh and on top of that ive come away with a tattoo i couldnt be more happy with. My experience here couldn't have been any better. From my consultation to the finished tattoo, I couldn't be happier. After finding Jo on Instagram, I decided to pop down to the studio and ask her to do my Merida from Brave thigh tattoo. When it came to communicating with studio, the staff were all really helpful and friendly from the get go. I am blown away with both the studio and my new tattoo, and I honestly can't thank Jo enough for putting my spirit princess on my leg. So over the moon with the service I received from Minerva! Leading up to my appointment, booking was super easy and everyone I spoke to was incredibly helpful. When I arrived yesterday I was incredibly nervous (...it was my first tattoo), I met Jo for the first time as I lived to far for a face to face consultation and she was awesome :) She helped me chill out a little, was absolutely lovely to chat with, made everything really easy and not only that but, she did an amazing job with my tattoo! Yesterday I had a sleeve based on Graham Masterton's horror novel "Charnel House" started on my left arm by Jo- right from the start she's been fantastic and listened to everything I wanted to incorporate into the tattoo designing me something super badass that I absolutely love! The whole tattooing process was very easy, Jo made sure I was comfortable and kept chatting to me whilst she worked~ Last year I got a Pokemon tattoo done by Bex and she was fantastic at talking to m...e and distracting me completely whilst it was being done. The tattoo itself is vibrant and beautifully done! In general I find the atmosphere at Minerva very friendly and laid back and I think everyone in there is very approachable (which is sadly something I've found lacking at other tattoo studios!). 03/03/17 Got my first tattoo this morning, only took me 25years to get around to it. Kept putting it off and putting it off. Had the Everton crest put on my right arm by Cherub.I have to admit that I was nervous, but Cherub was brilliant , made me feel really relaxed.It was that good of an experience that I have booked to have additional tattoos done later in the month.Walked out with a big smile on my face. made up. I visited on Thursday 23rd Feb with my friend, and wow! The place is huge, very relaxed feel and all the staff are are friendly and laid back. Cherub did my tattoo for me, I travelled from St Helens as Cherub had done one pervious... I love the water colour effect that cherub does. Bex was amazing! She is one of the friendliest down to earth person I know. Went in to carry on some work Jo has already been doing for me, added a day of the dead gypsy and could not be happier. First time I've been to the shop as previous work was done elsewhere but couldn't recommend it enough, I always recommend Jo to everyone anyway, but seeing the new set up and the whole vibe of the shop and everyone in there, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else!
