I have been there twice , I had my belly done in September and my nose done today!! it's safe to say it couldn't of gone smoother. The staff where all so friendly, polite, welcoming and warm which made me feel very safe in their hands. A well-meaning business let down by awful practices. I had a nostril piercing - my first - done 5 months ago. I later found out that it had been done by a trainee, something which I was never told during the process and would have 100% refused if I had known at the time. I was allowed as an unknowledgeable customer to get it pierced with a ring, which was chosen for me. I recently just had it removed, after a 5 month healing process that has achieved absolutely nothing and bent a U-shaped hole into the original puncture. The artist who helped me remove it from my new studio was mortified, and where he should have charged me for the time, he took it out for free, presumably out of pity. The only thing that prevents a one-star rating is the fact that I could have just been a freaky unfortunacy. Everyone else who works there seems like they honestly care about the business. All equipment is properly sterilised and theoretically safe. However, allowing a new customer who puts trust in you to be subjected to an ultimately failed procedure is inexcusable. Please don't let first-timers get pierced with a ring, and for the love of God when someone is surgically implanting metal in a person's face PLEASE let them know if the person doing it isn't fully qualified. We went to the Northampton store for my daughters to have their ears pierced and I could not rate the ladies in there high enough!!! My eldest had the first one done and couldn't bring her self to get the second - you guys were so patient with her and although on that occasion her fear stopped her getting her second one done, today we managed to get the second one pierced after about half an hour of test runs as she was so scared. Andy in Northampton has done some of the best cover ups i have ever seen .He amazes me how he can see my disaster tattoo (not done by him)and then comes up with a master piece . I have had many compliments and at last I don't feel ashamed to show my arms this summer .
