I first visited just before Christmas 2016 to get my nostril and daith pierced. I was absolutely terrified (my then 15 year old daughter had to hold my hand!) but I was soon made to feel at ease. When I decided to have my helix pierced, there was no where else I would go. However, I got home and decided that that poor helix piercing looked terribly sad and lonely so I went in a week later for a second one to join it and Dan's 'vision' was born! Visited Lost Time for a consultation not knowing exactly what I wanted or how it could be done. I was greeted by very friendly and professional staff. Explained my circumstances (post breast cancer). Danny had a cancellation later that day, he created the design, put me at my ease and I went for it. I now have an upside down rose covering the scars on my left breast and am extremely pleased with it. Can't thank the entire staff enough. I have shown friends and family who are amazed. in my most recent experience, the staff did not make me feel welcome whatsoever in particular ‘Dan’, he was not reassuring at all and besides getting a compulsory after care information leaflet i did not receive any advice from the team. I felt i was rushed in and pressured to have my scoop tongue piercing in a place which i didn’t want it to be because he expressed unpleasant feelings about the difficulty of the task. my friend also asked for the web tongue piercing and the staff almost seemed annoyed that she wanted that piercing- complaining about how much they hated to do it and bickering between them as to who was going to do it making the situation slightly awkward. however on the other hand, i have also been there for ear piercing with my friends and we all had pleasant experiences. my friend also got her smiley piercing done and it was very professional and the piercer was very calming and gave a lot of important after care advice. overall i think the quality of the piercings are on point however the attitudes of some of the staff (not all) is a bit off putting. I needed a cover up of a small upper arm tattoo...I had an idea as to the design I wanted, and after a consultation with Shaun, he modified the design, put me at ease and we began! I highly recommend lost time, as I was a little nervous when I first walked in but dan made me feel so relaxed and at ease, I had my nose pierced with dan I loved it and then had a few issues with all my own fault where I had knocked it and got a keloid scar so when back to dan to ask for his help and to he was amazing with all the advice he gave me and encouraged me along and if it was not for him being so helpful and reassuring I would of just given up and took it out. I got my daith pierced a week ago today by Dan and it was the best piercing I've had. Dan was so friendly and lovely, I've been places that have made me feel like im not "cool" enough to be there and I didn't get that feeling at all. Dan made me feel really welcome. The piercing area was really clean and everything was sterile. The piercing was really quick and it's healing really well, it doesn't hurt and even on the day it was done it looked healed. Dan is the greatest piercer in the world according to my wife but she has no piercings and doesn't know any others! However she maybe right as he is the only one I trust to pierce my daughter, his work is seamless and he is very professional at all times, his manner with clients is unbelievably calming as he explains everything in detail. Any questions or worries Lost Time always makes the time to answer questions and put you at ease. These guys are busy for a reason it's because they are good at what they do. Been in and out of the shop since it was a baby and although I live 60 miles away now, I still recommend Lost Time to anyone who asks where to get a decent tattoo. My most recent tattoo was a half sleeve cover up by Abbie who's not only lovely but incredibly talented. I have two of her tattoos now and cannot wait to go back for more.
