Amazing work by Mark, I was initially apprehensive about the piece I was getting done as it was quite specific and I wanted it to be perfect. Amazing stuff from Mark at Serious Ink.. Today I had my first tattoo and Serious Ink provided me with an excellent first experience. I was feeling incredibly nervous before entering the parlour and at the parlour before the tattoo, because of a minor fear of needles. I was talked through it by Mark, he explained how it would feel and that I would be okay, he was extremely professional. Mark and the rest of the staff were really friendly, offering a hot beverage and also ...an extremely relaxing environment.. Not to mention the work of art on my arm by Mark. The shading and shape of the water is realistic, the koi fish is massively detailed and a nice amount of different colours such as red, yellow, black, white, with white and black blotches to give the koi fish a realistic look, the cherry blossoms add a soft/feminine touch as well, adding some subtle tones to the striking koi fish. To round this off, I will definitely be coming back to Serious Ink and I will be recommending Serious Ink to everyone I know who are interested in getting a tattoo with great quality. Also to anyone I know who would like to get their first tattoo, as Serious Ink has a comfortable atmosphere with friendly, professional and talented people. Mark is an excellent tattooist and a lovely gent. I have been going to Mark for about 5 years and its amazing to see how much his, already brilliant, work has improved. Brandon, the up and coming apprentice, is very talented. Once a month, or so, Pete from Presion Piercing comes in and fits nicely in with the studios etiquette - fair priced and well mannered!
