This studio is absolutely ridiculous. I was advised not to go there but I still did because I live 2 minutes away from it. Firstly, I booked an appointment for which I waited 3 weeks just to be told that I need to see someone else who wasn't there. Two weeks after I went to see the person I needed to see, who then told me he can't help me with my request and was then booked in with a 3rd tattooist. After a month and a half of waiting, today I went to see the 3rd tattooist and surprisingly another person was booked in on the same date and time with the same tattooist. I closed my eyes for that too. The moment I sat down, it only took less than a minute and my tattooist told me she's "uncomfortable" tattooing my request (which was only a girl with long red hair?). She wanted to book me in with yet ANOTHER tattooist. Awkward stare. The staff couldn't even log onto the PC to book me in so they told me to wait. Bunch of clowns. I don't think anyone in that studio is taking their work seriously. Worst experience of my life. Two plus months wasted in hopes of getting my tattoo. It was my birthday 2 days ago and this could've been my birthday gift. Unprofessional behaviour!!! Read Less

Great place, genuinely nice bunch. I went in for my first tattoo and the Artist, Hayley, was patient calm and really talented. I also got my ears pierced and Kristy was precise and also very patient .. the overall vibe of the place is personal and I had a really good experience! Read Less

Absolutely unprofessional!! They said they had booked me an appointment, but apparently they did not as when I contacted them again they said someone else was booked for the same day. When asked for explanation they answered after 16 days saying "sorry I was on holiday" and offered another tattooist that "specialises in black and white" when I specified that my tattoo was going to be in color. IN REPLY TO YOUR COMMENT: None of your staff mentioned anything about the deposit when I came to your studio or when the appointment was confirmed by email. I don't believe clients should chase you up and ask if a deposit must be paid to confirm the booking. Rather I'd expect you to take this responsibility. Your replies to my emails were sent after 6 days and 16 days which you'll agree it makes your communication very very poor. Read Less

amazing, really nicely presented shop, amazing team of artists who were really friendly and relaxing as well as talented. Love that they reccomended the best suited artist for your needs too! Shop is huge so plenty of opertunity to get the tattoo you want. Will 100% be back. Read Less

I travelled 40 minutes to get to the tattoo parlor, wanting to buy some Jewelry. I spent 5 minutes looking at the jewlery and chose the one I liked. When I went to the desk to buy it, he said I couldn't as the piercer wasn't there! He had no idea when the piecer would be in. Read Less

Popped in with an idea for a new small tattoo on my wrist. Spoke to Lloyd who suggested improvements and sketched it out for me. I fell in love with it so had it done there and then. Don’t be fooled by the fact he’s “the apprentice”. The tattoo is perfect. I love it! The staff were really friendly and professional and the studio is incredibly clean. My fiancé had a tattoo here in April this year. Everyone is lovley and creates a calm atmosphere. It is also surgically clean, which as an NHS worker I 100% loved! His tattoo was done by Kat and is absolutely stunning. After care advice was also spot on and they sell everything you need there. I would highly recommend booking in with Purple Rose. Had my first ever tattoo today with Alice and she made it such a good experience! Such a lovely girl who designed the exact tattoo i'd wanted for months and made it even better than I expected :) helped me get the stencil on the exact place i wanted and made sure I was okay with the pain before she started, rest of the staff are all lovely as well which was nice and made me feel so comfortable and welcome despite being a complete tattoo virgin! If u want a great tattoo this is the place to come. Brilliant artists nice relaxing atmosphere and 1st class job... im currently having old tattoos covered by the shops owner Kat. My old tattoos were big,dark and old and i was worried they couldnt be covered.. not only have they been covered i now have an excellent tattoo designed for me and the almost finished article is brilliant... more than i could have hoped for... if you want a decent tattoo this is the place to go 😊 Read Less
