I just went to see Ruby at pierced up for a septum piercing and had a really quick, friendly, and painless experience. I barely noticed when she put the needle through because she was chatting with me and I felt very comfortable throughout the process. She said they only use titanium rings for piercings which is awesome because they’re hypoallergenic and good quality! The shop was clean and the prices seemed fair for what you’re getting. Had a piece done by Chris here last week. Amazing work, very chuffed - been wanting a cover-up tattoo for a while and he delivered. He's really honest, to the point and has great advice about style/placement/aftercare. The studio has a very good reputation and the people working there are very experienced. Had a cover up last year by Chris, incredible you wouldn't know it was a cover up at all. I was super nervous and I'm a wuss, but he was so calm and reassuring and recommended some great numbing cream, perfect. Had such a good experience here. I had a small elephant tattoo on my foot that was done by the tattoo artist Chris. Such a beautiful tattoo, that is even better than what I had wanted. The whole place was very hygienic and they really took care of me. The staff were all super friendly and kind, and they give you loads of advice on how to care for you tattoo after. This was my first tattoo so I was quite nervous... Fortunately I was made to feel really calm and comfortable whilst waiting for and during the tattoo application. Me and my friend went to pierced up this afternoon to get new piercings. She got her smiley and I got an Ashley piercing in my lip. I can't recommend Pierced Up highly enough! The staff are incredibly knowledgable and friendly, and I have only ever had great experiences there for tattoo and piercings. I had my nipples pierced by Ruby today, and she was incredibly reassuring while I was nervous and made me feel so at ease that I felt fine having both in one sitting. Went there to get my nipples pierced a couple months ago and it was perfect--honestly the smoothest, easiest piercing experience I've ever had. I walked in on a Monday afternoon and only waited 2 minutes, then had a nice informative chat with Ruby to make sure I knew everything I needed to know. She was very professional and generally awesome. The piercing itself took 10 seconds and was way less painful than I'd imagined! Pierced Up is one of these alternative looking punk style piercing shops, offering a lot of gothic and grungy designed accessories, piercing and bits and pieces. They also have a piercing service - as you could guess from the name - where you don't need an appointment you can just pop in and get what ever you want done (consent is needed if you are under 16 however).This place really isn't my kind of thing at all, and if I were to get a new piercing done I would go to a jewellers or beauty salon personally, however if the place doesn't fuss you then you might find they're a bit cheaper here. The shop is very dark and a bit intimidating in my eyes - but if you're young and into the punk or gothic trend then it might become your new favourite store! Read Less

I haven't actually had anything pierced or tattooed in this place myself, but I did visit with a female friend when she wanted to get her lip done. The guys running the place were all pretty sound chaps and they made sure they took good care of her whilst she had it done. The jewellery available isn't bad, but they didn't have much of a range of smaller sized hoops and such. The comically named Pierced Up on Park Row is another very professional and well established tattoo studio in Bristol.Like with so many businesses you're not really going to be going in there unless you're looking for a tattoo, piercing or advice in either department. This is a shop where you really get the things you expect: a clean and shiny interior, for example, with comfortable sofas and chairs. One can also check out hundreds of different designs from posters and flipbooks on the walls or talk with the friendly staff about individual designs and needs.The two treatment room are clean and sterile with hygiene certificates, awards and a big comfortable chair - the tiny details taken care off to make even the most nervous of customers feel at ease. I have always found Pierced Up to be a little intimidating. What with the black and silver exterior and the big skull posters in the windows. It put me off for ages, but eventually I was so desperate for a new belly bar that I had to venture inside. They actually had a good selection of designs and inside the staff are actually pretty friendly and very helpful. I was looking for a new belly bar and they had a good selection of designs at not a bad price. Prices weren't bad either, and the quality of the jewelery looks far better than the likes of Clare's Accessories.
