I’ve just had my first tattoo done by Kris at Inked Up, and I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out. The shop is very clean with a friendly atmosphere. I really can’t say I recognise any of the rudeness from staff mentioned in other reviews here. I’d been in the shop a couple of times before today to discuss what I wanted to have done (just a small custom piece in black), and found everyone working there to be very friendly and helpful, especially since I was a tattoo newbie. Great place, very friendly staff. Think I spoke to 4 members of staff over course of three visits (checking the place out, booking and getting the tattoo). They were always polite and helpful - think it helps to know what you want, they aren't going to persuade you to get something done! Everything from enquiring to getting tattooed was smooth and professional. Phil who carried out my tattoo was friendly and the general atmosphere of the place was friendly and relaxed. To those who say the team are rude or cold, I feel this is unfair. I have been having my piercings done here for over a year now with the lovely Amber, and once with their other piercer for my tragus. Always completely amazing and well done, healing perfectly and always so honest about what they can and can't do (so you know its not like most piercing shops where they just take your money and give you a piercing that doesn't work for you!). Based on a brief chat with the lady that greeted me yesterday, I wouldn’t use any of their services. She was rude, patronising and it seemed to be an inconvenience that I was there! Came here a couple of months ago to enquire about a tattoo and instead of actually helping, some guy started questioning me on my own tattoo. He asked me what my tattoo meant and so I told him. I guess he wasn’t pleased with my answer and started correcting me. On my own f*****g tattoo. So rude. Came in with open mind and looking for some advice on a tattoo I was looking to potentially have with inked up bristol. I was shocked with the level of attitude, interest, professionalism or just outright rudeness that all the 3 staff that where working at the time thought would be acceptable. Got my cartilage piercing 13 months ago here and only reviewing now because it hasn't healed brilliantly because of the crazy angle it was pierced. I've been really careful with it and cleaned as per directions, but it bled like a MOFO just after it was done and half my ear went black with bruising which didn't go completely for a couple of weeks. The bar was also waaay too long and my hairdresser kept catching it (I have really short hair trimmed every 6 weeks) which didn't help. TBH the staff were also super aloof and arrogant which has just added to how annoyed I am with the situation. My ear has now healed with the piercing going down at a 45 degree angle from front to back, with a small keloid at the front and a bigger, round bump at the back. It looks pretty rubbish and am currently soaking it with yet more sea salt and aspirin in the hope that I can have a piercing that I like with a more interesting piece of jewellery in it one day. I've since had a much more positive experience at Blue Banana with a friendly and v.knowledgeable piercer who didn't just grunt at me and they include a proper care kit in the price. Read Less

I got two piercings here, my helix and my nose and they staff members we soo lovely and welcoming! They women that did the piercings was extremely helpful.
