I had my nose re-pierced today with Mike & I have to say what a fantastic job he did! I was pretty scared and he was brilliant with keeping me calm and explaining the process to me, I highly recommend him!! Also the jewellery in there is just STUNNING!!! Some basic customer service skills would be nice. And some cleanliness. I accompanied my friend to have a piercing on a busy Saturday at about 4 PM. The guy doing the piercing got really arsey because I leant on a counter "where he was going to be working". Well, I´m sorry, put a sign on it? Or tell people what they can and can´t do before hand? It´s not so much to be asked to move, but his attitude was extremely douchey. Like he gets a power trip for telling people off. Made us feel really uncomfortable. Surely leaning on your work counter is not such a big deal, seeing the bin itself is overflowing with bloody pads, used up gloves and there is a spatter of blood on the wall ? How about you get all anal about cleaning that mess first? Wish I had taken a picture of the filthy bin overflowing with bio hazard but he would have told me off too, probably. Ended up going to Electric Vintage instead. Read Less

Mike is absolutely fantastic! Had my conch pierced yesterday and he made it as easy and comfortable an experience as being stabbed in the ear can ever be. I've had most of my piercings done here by Mike and he's great, he's professional and puts you at ease. None of my piercings that I've had here have ever got infected and you can tell Mike really knows what he's doing. I've had (over the years) my nose, my nipples, my tongue, my left and right lip, my septum, my belly button and today my labret! Since having moved from London to Bath I've been looking for the right place to get a couple of new piercings. I'd seen great reviews about Broad Street Studio and Mike, so I finally bit the bullet today and got two nipple piercings that I've been wanting for forever. Mike was warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and I never felt rushed through the piercing process, which helped me to relax and ease my nerves. Had quite a few piercings from various studios over the years but Mike is the best. I went in yesterday to get my conch done and Mike talked me through the options for jewellery and best practice for aftercare. The actual piercing itself was super quick, pretty much pain-free and the placement is really nice. Mike also swapped out my other jewellery so it matched my conch ring, yay! I purchased the spray I've been following a bit of a sketchy aftercare regime in the past and wanted to sort that out- the spray is really easy to use though and cleans everything up nicely so definitely recommend getting that for aftercare. Just had my helix pierced here and it was such a lovely experience! I originally went in to get my forward helix done and Mike was very informative about my options regarding eventually having a triple forward helix - only problem was they didn't have the very basic labret discs in stock and I was too cheap to spring for a nicer one. I got my helix done instead and it was literally the most painless of all my piercings (11, now). Going back at Christmas for more! Read Less

While i was backpacking in Europe I really wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate the trip. I called Broad Street 1 day in advance and they were able to make it work. I showed up straight from the train and they were so accommodating with me and my giant pack. The guy who did my tattoo did an amazing job and i was really, really pleased with how it turned out. They even had a funny movie playing to make the experience more entertaining. Being a tourist and not having a great understanding of the exchange rate, he definitely could have pulled a fast one on me and charged me more than necessary, but the price was very reasonable and less than I had anticipated. If you are a tourist or living in Bath, this is a great place to go. Read Less

I came here to get my nose pierced, which I had done with a needle, so that I could wear it with a ring rather than have a silly stud in it for ages until it healed. Luckily the nose is one of the fastest places on the body to heal and I had no problems with cleaning it with the tea tree oil provided here and have never regretted it. The only problem with anything to do with the nasal area is, no matter how hard you may think you are, you will be crying involuntarily as soon as that needle goes through the first layer of skin. That's my overriding memory of this place. Meant to be pretty good for tattoos, too, by the way, according to the few people I've spoken to about it. Read Less
