So my husband has an unfinished tattoo from back in 2008 and he found the design out of The Tattoo Sourcebook. We moved away from the artist who had started the tattoo (in California) and the book is not in our possession anymore. My husband has been looking online for this image since 2010. The artist who started the tattoo finally made his way out to South Carolina (where we moved to) but we still didn't have the image. So I took a long shot and reached out to 14 or so diff...erent people no matter where they are located (artists that were named in the book, tattoo shops that have done work from the book, and random people that had posted about the book) just hoping that someone would be able to help us out with an image of the tattoo from the book. I was that desperate to find it! I got 2 responses but neither of them were able to help out. After only an hour and a half, I got a response from Jacques who was very kind and helped us out!! Jacques, I don't know how to thank you for being so professional, kind, friendly, and so quick to respond and help us out with our problem!! I take it mine and my best friend's tattoos are 2 in a million. After 2 and a half years my tattoo still has not healed. My friends tattoo rotted off. I have numerous other tattoos that I am proud of. I am ashamed to show my leg in public. We were told we can't have the designs we wanted as they were too small and not with your time. So we got bigger ones. I requested that no red should be used. Red was used. Oh well, the customer has no idea what she is talking about. After... numerous visits to various medical and dermatological institutions I was told that the inked was placed too deep. One surgeon even removed as much of it as he possibly could. Scar tissue is not sexy. And yet I have it lucky. My friend lost the whole tattoo. She was left with the outline and indented flesh. And that after ending up in the ER. As I say. 2 in a million. In November 2016 I got yet more ink from the maestro Jacques-mario Robert Brummer at Cthulhu Tattoo Studio and was (as always) well impressed and happy with the end result. In fact Jacques has now done ink that includes designs I got in person from my escapades as a Music Photographer from Alkaline Trio, Rise Against and Henry Rollins (to name a few).
