I got my labret pierced at Kustom Ink Tattoos by Fadi. LAST place I will ever go to. On top of having anxiety I had more nerves because it was my first piercing, so I was shaking a bit. The piercer (I do not know his name? He did not even introduce himself) did not have a suitable piercing chair where you could sit and lie back in, and there was poor lighting. The piercing was done fine, but afterwards I heard the piercer go "JEEEZ!" as he walked off (commenting on my shaking) which in my opinion is extremely unprofessional. Also, there was NO aftercare advice given, just a swift exit from the room I was taken to. Since then, I have found a better and much more professional piercing place to go to. Read Less

I went to this place to have my nose stud changed for a hoop. I'm not a professional so I left it up to the guy who served me to assist me. After my stud was removed, the new ring was clearly MUCH thicker than my old jewelry because the guy was quite literally forcing it through the hole. I was then also not shown the result in a mirror or asked if i was happy. I looked at it using my phone and the gauge of the hoop was way too large - looked as though I had a hula hoop throu...gh my nose. It also hurt a lot and this should not be the case with a healed nose piercing. I then mentioned this to the guy who then tried to convince me it was fine and to pass the blame to the original piercer, saying that it had been pierced too low. I was persuaded to "see how I live with it." I then decided at the car to go back and ask that it be changed back and I be refunded. I was only refunded R100 out of the R150 I paid and to be honest, I don't think it was right to keep a labour charge when the service was so ill-advised and poor. It seems to me that the guy who helped me just wanted to make a sale and didn't care to tell me that they didn't have the correct jewelry. Very bad practice. I don't know what it is but have bought three different nose rings from guys and like each time a week later the diamante is out. It's very disappointing as you guys aren't just around the corner from where I stay. I think you need to look into Where you get your body jewelry from, because of this there's a 90% chance I won't be coming back. Read Less
