I'm very happy with my tattoo that Johan did for me and my mom on Friday. He is very quiet and does not speak much but his work at the end was amazing. The perfect manorial peace for my brother. I only thing I was told that the artist would contact me a week b4 so we could start working on my design but this never happened. I only saw the design the day of my appointment. As a tattoo virgin (in Monique's words), I was quite nervous when I first walked into True Blue last week Friday to talk to them about getting my first one done. But it turns out that I was just being silly. I went back this morning to get my first one (eerder, my eerste enetjie, because it's small) and although I was still somewhat shaky, I think it was more excitement than nerves. The nerd in me found the whole process fascinating. Marcel is very patient, didn't scowl at my silly questions, and if, like me, you have a pain threshold of basically zero, I'd definitely recommend him! Clinically clean, light, friendly vibes, a cup of coffee and a kick-arse playlist that makes me miss the good ol' TuksFM days - if I'm getting another one (already considering it...), this is the only place I'd go to.
