The staff is very friendly. You can get a appointment on the same day or the next day. The studio is very clean. Every Tattoo is unique and selfdrawn from the artist. But you can't pay per hour. So the prices are very different. That is the only negative aspect.Read Less

I originally went to a different shop and they said I needed laser treatment and were very rude. (White tiger). This tattoo shop are the best!! No judgement, no problem and they tattoo they did was amazing!! So happy with the results and their customer service is the absolute best. Read Less

My wife and I stopped in before leaving Queenstown. They were able to fit us in the schedule that afternoon! Rua gave us both incredible tattoos. We had general ideas of what we wanted. He gave some feedback on how to make them even better. Both of us felt comfortable giving him some artistic freedom with the design work. Then he was off freehanding the tattoos. The designs are better than what either of us could have imagined, the line work is exceptionally clean and he works quickly. Thanks Rua, we love them! Got a Maori tattoo here to commemorate my NZ Trip. These guys were recommended as the only place to get inked in queenstown by a mate who lives there. Great experience! Being from the US I had to rely heavily on reviews and some research. I started coorisponding with Otautahi about a month before by visit. They were flexible with working me in, being in NZ on holiday its hard to pre-plan too much. My appt was with Tama who specializes in Maori art. During our consult he actually drew (yes free hand) my sketch on my arm. His attention to detail is amazing. I wish there was a way to post my new art on this review! They were able to pop me in on my stop through town, but I got a weird vibe from this place. They don't have an hourly rate so there is no consistency in pricing--they originally asked for a very steep price for what I got and I convinced them to lower it. The work is good (which is why 4 stars) but I wouldn't return there for a larger piece as I feel they would heavily over charge.Read Less

I cannot recommend this store highly enough. It was my last day in QT and I really wanted to get a tattoo while I was in NZ. I walked in and they managed to get me in and out before my flight.
