Lil did an amazing job reworking/covering up a current tattoo plus a small script piece over the last 2 days; she was incredibly dedicated to helping me get the finish I wanted and her work is amazing! Steve previously changed my nose stud to a ring and took care of with calm professionalism whilst also keeping an upbeat, jolly attitude; even when it was being a total horror to change. What can I say about the jolly octopus? If you go there expecting the most rich, moist and amazing chocolate Gateaux and perfect soy mocha to match you're SOL and JWF. But if you want a good tattoo experience then I couldn't recommend better. For my birthday I decided to get a tattoo that I had been planning for a while and after a few emails back and forth with Lil (quiet and soft spoken but amazingly focused) we had it all planned. My birthday came and I arrived at the jolly octopus and Lil was ready, and I don't mean going to the doctor ready I mean John Wick on assignment ready( google it, it's a great film). So after a brief introduction Lil started work and it was during this period that the friendly and talkative Steve arrived, so while we chatted about comics and our children Lil worked on what was to become the amazing piece on my leg, it came out just as I had hoped and I couldn't be happier, This was by far the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Tattoo ed my wife on both half upper same sleeves and a large oak tree still to go back to be finished but just waiting for the birth of our first son on Monday at star ship Auckland as he is our wee heart warrior so as soon as he is all better from his surgery and my wife is back in Christchurch she will be in to add to her back Steve is the nicest and best tattoo guy to go to I might even get him to do something on my virgin skin even though I have always said I would never get a tattoo but if I did I would only get Steve to do it cheers mike Read Less

I got a Vegvesir compass tattoo from Maki and I love it so much, super clean and very well done. Super happy with my first tattoo and very impressed with the professional and friendly atmosphere. I got a gypsy fortune teller tattoo on my inner forearm yesterday by Steve, and i can safely say it is my new favourite tattoo! � I sent him some pictures of designs i liked and he drew up 2 beautiful and unique designs, the studio was nice and clean and steve was really nice which put me at ease (i was quite nervous!) Great work and very freindly and helpfull to deal with...had some concerns after geting tongue peirced for the third time, so went back in to check it was algud.and they didnt hesitate to check it out and make sure nothing was wrong.listened to what they told me and sure enough they where right, a week later it had fully healed with no problems...it was just they scare tissue from the previous two peircings that was causing the healing process to take longer....love your work guys.highly recommended.will definitely be going back in the future Read Less
