I went here for my first tattoo. Great level of attention, good vibe in the shop, in for a chat and laugh, very professional, very helpful and quick in designing my tattoo. Had a great experience at Left Hand Path. I got a realistic color kea (the New Zealand alpine parrot) on the back of my calf and it turned out great. Andy Swarbrick (owner) is a master - not to mention a funny, laid back guy to chat with while he inflicts ink and pain. We sussed out a great design loosely based on the original picture I sent and I also had a tight time frame of a single day in Christchurch to get the work done. Andy did a marathon 9 hour session with me, staying way past closing hours. I am super happy with the piece of art on my leg and I will be back to work with Andy at some point in the future. I got my tattoo on my inner bicep by Matt. The Team here are super professional and put absolutely no pressure on me at all. I spent some time with the receptionist to pick out the font I wanted. She was totally understanding and encouraged me to pick out the exact font and size I wanted. She printed out the sample several times because of my indecisiveness. Matt informed and explained to me the positioning of the tattoo should be slightly moved to avoid looking curved when I bend my arm. I had my first tattoo ever here with Becky and everyone was so professional, friendly and helpful. The whole process from first visit until the final tattoo was just amazing and I felt so well taken care of all the time. I found Left Hand Path here on Facebook & gave them a call, they arranged a time for me to speak to one of the team about a tattoo I wanted. My appointment was with Becky, she was great and we went over the picture I had and I made the appointment to get it done, In between then and the day before I was due to get it done I got a message about viewing the design and wow Becky changed it slightly and made it even better.
