Flash City recalls the first tattoo parlours that were often found out back of a barber shop. All the designs are up on all the wall, every one hand painted by the tattooers of Two Hands Tattoo and our most respected friends from around the world. Each design will be tattooed a little different each time. In the spirit of time-honoured barbershop traditions, Flash Cityβs barbers will provide classic cuts and straight razor shaves.

I'm was visiting Auckland from the U.S and wanted to get a tattoo before I left! Two hands tattoo was reccommeded to me by a friend and I had a great experience. Bobby was amazing and I absolutely love my new tattoo, it's a great souvenir to take back to Colorado :)

My goto barber shop for haircut. They also have tattoo as the name suggests. Rather i shud have said in reverse....a tattoo parlor with hair parlor as well. Well if going for hair cut most IMPORTANT : THEY ACCEPT ONLY CASH. My last cut was done by Sarah and it was totally fantastic. Its a walk-in parlor btw and they are open on Sundays too.

I have been there a few times and had tattooing done by Sera who seemed sometimes friendly and sometimes not. Β Had a session booked and planned which she had done art for, turned up today and was acused of touching her back last time i was there. You touched me she said. Wow scary ! What the ? Β I said are you sure you have the right person and she became almost agressive. Then said do you want your tattoo done. Please tell me what would your answer be at that point. Β Β Im a business owner and family man and a very respectful to people when its deserved. Β Im in shock and disbelief. I wouldnt suggest going there . Very odd.

I went to Flash City Barbers, inside Flash City Tattoo. Got a great hair cut for a good price, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. They even had a good coffee recommendation.

Heads up, they only take cash (but were super cool with me heading to the ATM to get some.)

Paying homage to the times of old, There is a barber shop nestled in amongst a "Flash" tattoo parlour (there are 100s of designs on the walls but the artists do custom work also)It is walk in only for the barber shop and walk ins are welcomed for tattoos too!The barbers are not only great at cutting hair but also great at providing a good service all round,Dont miss the late night on Thursdays and get a complimentary Coopers beer while you wait.

If you don't want a customized tattoo, Flash City next door has hand-painted designs ready to go.I also highly recommend the Post Ink Supply Co. natural tattoo after care product that they sell in store. Two Hands is cash only, but there's an ATM across the road.
