I actuqlly was in the Parliament street branch after going in here first. The piercer here was on a break so one of the lovely staff brought me over to the other shop to be seen. Went in earlier today to get my scaffold piercing reopened. All the staff we super friendly and helpful, especially Lauren who did my piercing for me and was so lovely the whole time. Also the price is fantastic, it only cost 10 euro as I didnt have to have new holes pierced and that even included the jewellery. Even if it was a brand new piercing it would have only cost 25 which is fantastic. I will definitely be back and will recommend here to all my friends. Read Less

I made an appointment for a small tattoo and was assigned Adam Collins (IG: @adamcollinstattoos) who was an absolutely IRISH PRINCE. He was so warm and welcoming, helpful, and made it truly a great experience. I appreciate he was not dismissive or rude (because I was a tourist and getting something small). I had a deadly experience here. All the staff are super sound and chatty. Big shout out to the receptionist Hayley such a sweet lady to chat to and was super helpful. She sent me a lovely text message to remind me of my appointment. I would go back just to chat to her and Lauren alone. I got tattooed by the amazing Agne Hurt. So glad I just happened to walk by the Ink Factory. I was in town for just two days and decided I wanted to get my ear pierced. I only had to wait 5 min, and inside was so nice. I was clean and welcoming and when I got the piercing (ear --helix) it did not really hurt at all. The staff was super friendly and informative. My experience with the Ink Factory so far has been exceptional. The staff are incredibly helpful and professional, the premises are clean and spacious, and the communication has been swift throughout the entire process of scheduling my appointment. Although I needed to wait longer than I'd have liked (about a month and a half), I sincerely believe that the wait will have been worth it. Once my tattoo is complete, I will update this review with further details. Update: My tattoo healed beautifully! I had some issues with the second skin bandage that was applied after my tattoo was completed and I was able to go back the next day and have it reapplied as soon as I walked in. Throughout the entire process, my artist (Diana) was very responsive to my questions and suggestions, and we were able to alter the design to fit exactly what I was looking for. I came in for a piercing. I had no appointment and I was more than a bit nervous, as I actually have a phobia of needles ("then why did you want to get pierced??" BECAUSE I FACE MY FEARS LIKE THE BAD ASS OVARY-SPORTING CHICK THAT I AM, DAMMIT!!). First, I LOVE that you fill out a form that asks you about how you scar, if you have any medical conditions, etc. Spot on! I went in to a bright side-room just off the main floor. The (piercing person?) young woman explained why needles are better for the type of scarring I get, and walked me through everything. She was absolutely the kindest, and kept me smiling. No problem having my friend come in with me. Then boom! Done. Switched the needle for a stud, then checked in with me to make sure I wasn't going to pass out. She could have just told me to go wait on the benches, but she took the time to really engage with me. I have plans for one more, and I cannot think of anywhere else I would rather go. Too notch! Tried to book a tattoo several times and consult with artists and after speaking with them you are given a better idea of what you would like without feeling discouraged at all. They have an artist to suit whatever style you may require and all of them are of extremely high standard. Very professional and sanitary set up. My artist was Diana Plescia, highly recommended for floral work whether in black and grey or colour and she shows genuine excitement in giving you a piece of unique art which makes you feel so much more comfortable. Super friendly staff, always a good atmosphere to walk into. I always feel in safe hands getting a haircut with any member of staff and have really come to enjoy the experience every time I go in. I recently decided to gift my sister a tattoo here and the friendliness and advice made the process very easy. She was nervous when it came to getting the tattoo because it was her own design and she wanted it to be just as she had planned. The tattoo artist (Lucas) was patient and made sure the details were just as she imagined and in the end was a very happy sister with a lovely new tattoo. I also decided to get a tattoo here on which I was given some great advice on the artist to go with in terms of style of the tattoo. I got a tattoo with Lucas S. when I was in Dublin on holiday and my experience was great from start to finish. Their online booking process made it easy to set up an appointment from abroad and they were really responsive, making sure that everything was confirmed. I was also able to upload a picture of what I wanted and a picture of the placement to ensure that Lucas would be prepared when I arrived.The shop was clean and well lit and the staff were all friendly and cheerful. Lucas did a great job sizing the tattoo to fit the location on my arm perfectly and it turned out exactly how I envisioned it. His line work was great and it's healing perfectly. I wanted to make sure that the details were clear, but that it stayed delicate and not over-worked, and I'm very very happy with the end result. Another artist added some artistic interpretation and flare and now I have a piece of work I am so excited about. For a city, good coffee in Dublin is oftentimes hard to come by. I like a strong roast and The Ink Factory's coffee is deliciously dark. To start WE would love to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the team. They received us with a coffee on arrival while we were designing the tattoos, as me and my husband wanted the same tattoo. Our Romanian artist was excellent, very patient with our requests and changing one time and one hundred the design if it was necessary.As he said he was here to make our dream true. During the tattoos we didn't have much pain, he did it very well and the final result is even better that what we expected. He gave us very good ideas and I have to say that what we wanted was a bit complicated because of he size and the colors we wanted but even tough he did a super great job. We will make a new appointment and we would like to have our artist again helping us with the designs. The shop is extremely cool and even better the people who works there.
