I’ve been tattooed by CJ in may. It was a quick and dirty work. He didn’t paid attention to what he was doing. When I asked him to change the size of one of the tattoos, he refused. I did the symbol of the queen of heart and the king of spade. The spade looks like … a black spot maybe. The heart isn’t at the same level nor at the same size. He did it in … 30 seconds ? Maybe 1 minute… Great job. Before taking an appointment I checked all the tattoos he had done on his Faceboo...k page. I chose him because of his work, because I liked how he draws straight lines, etc… Don't trust what you see on facebook, it is the work he does during a good day, but if he is not happy for your appointment, he will do shit. Because my tattoos were a « small project », he didn’t care at all. He didn’t make his job. He could have refuse my project, but since he accepted it, he was supposed to do his best to give me what I was looking for : a well done tattoo. All of this is unacceptable. He is an unprofessionnal tattoo artist, well, he is not an artist at all actually... Luckly, then I talked with Greg, and he retouched it, he was very nice and did his best to make the tattoo better. Since I wanted a tattoo here in Dublin I popped in into a couple of parlours in town but I was feeling discouraged cause all of them were totally booked ahead for the following few weeks and also they were quite expensive too. A friend of mine suggested to me this place in Phibsborough hence I choosed to go there. I got my tatto and I am really happy with it. The guy did amazing work, the place is neat and was much better value compared to many other parlours. After 3 weeks I booked a new appointment and got another tatoo. Very satisfied again. Im absolutely sickened by the service at Pins and needles! Iv been attending Joanna for months to get a sleeve done (which has already been started) on the last two occasions i was left waiting up to an hour after my appointment time for joanna to start the session. In the mean time ive had to re schedule many appointments because of double bookings but today was the final straw. I had an appointment booked for 6pm and phoned at 5.50pm to say i would be late due to heavy traf...fic. When i arrived, Joanna had already STARTED another session with a client and told me to come back in a half an hour (without any apology) Then tells me "im not wonder woman you only booked you appointment today" (which i booked at 2pm) and her comments go on. Ive given Joanna hundreds of euro to do a sleeve thats unfinished. I wont ever step foot in pins and needles again nor will i ever recomend to anyone! I used to always get piercings done here but after Saturday I would never go back I got my smiley done for the second time and was left sitting holding a clamp in my hand for 5 minutes while the piercer dropped the ball. It was extremely painful and nothing like the previous time she pulled the clamp so far and took ages to get the Ball on which I didn't mind because I know they are small and fiddly but when I told her it was hurting bad she continued. Finally she got the ball on and then told me to tighten it myself when I got home that she didn't tighten it enough and I only got up the road and the ball was off. That annoyed about the service I didn't go back to get it put on and I can guarantee I won't be going back or recommending this place again.
