After having an okay experience at Tantrix in the past (with a piercer who no longer works here) I decided to get pierced here again as they have the reputation of being the cleanest shop in town. Late Update: After returning for service numerous times due to lack of communication, I had made another review on another page of theirs. The owner went absolutely nuts, she made it clear she's a deluded cheat who doesn't care about customers safety or dignity, will cuss out customers, sells low quality jewelry (admits to ordering the same low grade jewelry as mall outlets) and her piercers are also likely not app certified if they are willing to sell unsafe mystery metal. If you care for your health and dignity, don't shop here. "Got my septum piercing here, but then bought a clicker for it and paid good money for it, but the gold film wore off in less than a week and they refused to give me my money back saying I had to contact the place they order their jewelry from, which seems silly since they are the ones taking my money. I think going to Tantrix was my best tattoo experience ever. The shop is so cool and stylish and very clean. Everyone was so friendly and inviting. My artist, Trevor, was fantastic. He did amazing work and took some awesome pics for me. My tattoo looks amazing. It's a beautiful design by Trevor and I think it's looks great on my calf. His colour saturation is so pretty too! I have personally had two piercings done by Kristy and i would recommend her to everyone!!! Today she pierced my 4 years old ear. She was so amazing with her even when she freaked and decided to wait to get her other ear done another day. I will only be going to her for any future piercings totally worth the 2.5 hr drive!! Oh. Wow where do I start with the amazing service that I receive while I was at Tantrix today. I went in and got my rook and tragus pierced today by Kristy. She was so caring and kind. Made sure I was comfortable the whole time when she was doing both of my piercings. This was the third time I had gone into Tantrix and I have been impressed every time I have gone into the shop. Very disappointed. Booked a consultation with Tyler. He agreed to add shading onto my existing tattoo as well as add a small piece onto another tattoo. When I arrived the day of my appointment he told me that he would be unable to add any shading to my tattoo like we had discussed at the consultation. Then with the other piece he was adding onto he sketched out what he thought I wanted and when I told him it was the wrong size he informed me that it was only the pen and it would be fixed in ink. Not only was it not fixed when the ink healed but what was supposed to be completely filled in was merely an outline. When I asked for a touchup they told me I would have to pay to have my tattoo added onto, then when finally agreeing on a touch up time they failed to schedule me in. And then when I rebooked another touch up time they scheduled me for the week prior to when I had told them I would be available. Now after their poor tattoo mistakes I have to go somewhere else to touch up what should have been done in the first place. Save your money. Go to a professional shop. Read Less

My friend had an appointment with Chris to fix up a 4 month old tattoo she had done with a different artist from a different tattoo shop. While he was working on her she mentioned that I also had a tattoo I didn't like and was looking into getting it fixed. Chris did an amazing job on hers and was able to fix mine the same day, even though I had not made an appointment. I am very satisfied with the result and the service I received today.
