Went in to book a tattoo until this rude blonde guy at the front desk 'helped' me. He was very condescending and spoke down to me. Accused me of wanting a walk in tattoo at a 'custom shop' and called me cheap for asking about minimum charges per hour. Also put down other shops in the city saying that red tide is the top custom shop in saskatoon and the rest are just walk in places...wish I could give them a negative star rating. I had a palm-size flash done by Jen Lee. She’s very kind and doesn’t have a heavy hand. It’s been about two years now and the colours are still bold and vibrant. She did an excellent job at complementing the colours of my other tattoo. I would definitely get tattooed by Jen Lee again! Read Less

Tattoo removal with Brad: I have been very impressed with the store and the level of professionalism that Brad brings to the tattoo removal process. He is very up front with the amount of time and the number of sessions it will take for a full removal. I had a tribal sun on my shoulder that was approx. 3”x3”. Brad and I discussed what I wanted to have happen on the initial consultation ( prep for coverup tattoo or full removal ) He then laid out the timeline required for this process. Let me tell you upfront, if think it will be quick and over in one or two sessions, your wrong :). It takes time for your body to heal between sessions. All in all, it took me 10 sessions spanned out over a year and a half to have full removal. But we got there! I think Brad was just as stoked as I was to see it gone. He is always available for questions or advice on the removal process and he always follows up to check on things to make everything is going okay with the process. I would highly recommend making an appointment to see Brad if your serious about getting a tattoo removed. I have one more to get removed and I will be booking another appointment very soon! Managed to get in to see Jen Lee for a piece that was all about facing my fears. She made me feel comfortable and was able to take my vague thoughts and turn them into an amazing piece for me. Got a tattoo here. It was my second one (on my rib) i was very nervous and they told me straight that it will hurt, but they also gave me very encouraging words to help me calm down. I had Tattoo artist Nicky, she was very calm, and down to earth, she took her time! she took her time in getting the needle prepared and explained why, she took her time on the tattoo itself. even some of the other workers there talked to me while i was getting it down to try to keep my mind off of it. Overall GREAT experience. Will be going back. My tattoo turned out great minus one part of it, but that could be my body ejecting the ink in that spot, or scratched it in the night without knowing... but overall LOOKS FANTASTIC and GREAT EXPERIENCE!Read Less

Went here to get matching tattoos with my girl. We had a rough idea in mind but wanted to see what Nicky our artist came up with. We arrived at our appointmet but we messed up the time and we were 1 hour late. Nicky still wanted to go over the ideas she had drawn up. We picked one we liked ad since it was a simpler design she said she could still do our tattoo that day. That was great since I was visiting and do not live in Saskatoon.   The shop is very hygienic and professional. Nicky as well as the other artist were very friendly and I felt comfortable.
