I got my tattoo done by Tree yesterday, March 7th. I chose to ignore the recent comments from others because you can't just judge someone so quickly from the bad words of others because as we all know, there is more than one side to every story. It was only my second tattoo and first time going to Inkognito so obviously I was very nervous. But Tree made me feel very comfortable and did an AMAZING job on my tattoo. He even added in small details and gave me great ideas of his own which made the tattoo look more original & unique and just way better than the picture i had in mind. I was booked to get a tattoo done by tree in December. He called me an hour before to say he hadn't received the picture of the tattoo I wanted.. I know he had received it because we had a conversation on Facebook about it.. he told me to come in asap and I told him I couldn't come until my appointment time as I was at work which he was then frustrated with me. He also told me to go buy Emla cream to freeze my leg. So I went and bought some from shoppers for 30 dollars and p...ut it on as directed. When arriving at the shop he still hadn't drawn up or even found the picture I had sent him. He then printed it off and said where's your Emla cream? I told him I already put it on and he yelled at me saying I'm suppose to put it on because " he knows the proper technique" and got mad at me for " wasting his" and I now owe him money for a tube. After freezing my leg, he told me to come back in an hour so he could draw up my tattoo. 50 minutes later he calls me to say sorry don't come back I'm not feeling it today.. I'll make a special appointment for when you are available though . So I told him the following Monday and he agreed. I was frustrated but thankful he was willing to accommodate .. I get there to find out he's not even there.. so I gave up and to this day he still didn't bother contacting me about it. After all the terrible reviews and pictures I've seen lately I'm so thankful he cancelled... The tattoos I have done by Tree are the best. That is the reason for the star rating. The last few months of hearing about illness, cancellations and this last event of that absolutely horrible tattoo really have me thinking I will have to go elsewhere in the future. People are trusting in you to do beautiful work and are getting scarred for life with no apologies and rude behaviour. Until now, I have never heard anyone complain about a tattoo done by Tree. I'm honestly really surprised that there's so much negativity in the top of this review page. I had my first ever tattoo done by him and it came out absolutely perfect. Everyone in the shop was friendly and professional. It was clean, no infection. I got clear instructions of how to take care of my tattoo and would absolutely go back! I went there initially because of a friend who referred me who'd had work done and it was great. I know many many people personally who've ...had work done there and it was great... This horror story someone is spamming all over the review page was one person incredibly late at night after a long day. And ultimately, I don't think you should be reviewing this parlor unless you've had a tattoo personally from it. That's like reviewing food you've never tasted because a friend sent you a picture and said it was gross. Just because you've seen the tattoo doesn't mean you have a personal experience to share. I've heard terrible things about tree and his work in the past. Today I saw n fb he messed up a woman's tattoo really bad, this just validated the rumors I've heard. He really shouldn't be tattooing under the influence of drugs or alcohol and his colleagues should also be looking out for the best interests of the customers. I had a very unpleasant experience with Tree. My appointment was at 12. I got to the chair by 4pm. When he was working on a tattoo he was repeatedly doing same lines. So it was too painful. I asked him to take a picture of the tattoo (it is on my lower back). When I took a look at that I stopped him midway. A decided never to come back. It was my fifth tattoo with Tree. Read Less
