The first time I had my navel pierced, I went to a different place in the city that I knew about. Unfortunately, this place did not do a good job with my piercing and left me with a lot of pain and infections for nearly an entire year until I finally took it out and let it close. Decided later on to get my navel re-done, but did my research that time. I heard great reviews about Elisa at Gaslight, so I chose to get it done there. Elisa explained to me what was wrong with my previous piercing, explained the correct method, and did a fantastic job with my piercing! I felt comfortable the entire time, and the piercing healed quickly. Super happy with the results from Elisa at Gaslight! Highly recommended! I went in as a walk-in on Saturday & had Mac as my tattoo artist. I am 100% pleased with how my tattoo turned out! I was a little nervous going in, as this was my first tattoo & it was done in a fairly sensitive area, but from the moment Mac introduced himself & starting talking to me my nerves calmed down! He was nothing but professional & kind. I was pleasantly surprised with how gentle he was while working on the tattoo! My first tattoo & the experience was better than I could have hoped for! I have had tattoos done by Steve Fisher and Mac they both did amazing jobs. Make you feel comfortable, never an awkward silence, very nice people and a joy to spend hours laid up on a table with. We really are lucky to have such an amazing body modification artist in this city. I first went to Alyssa to have my septum pierced. I had been told it was one of the most painful piercings to get but that was completely untrue. Although I wanted the piercing close to my lip, she refused and professionally explained the pain differences and risk of cartilage infection. Because she knew what she was doing, it was the most painless piercing I had ever received and it healed fas...ter than any other piercing I have had. I recently went back to have my medusa and labret done and again, I can't believe how quickly they have healed! As the swelling is going down, they are settling into the perfect spots and I couldn't be more happy. I got my industrial pierced. Amazing service. I was so nervous and panicking, geanna was so friendly about it she answered all my questions. Put in time and effort to make sure it was how i liked it and how it would work best. Unfortunately with how my ear is shaped and how my body is, my ear didn't take well to my piercing,(I am not criticizing her work, I'm just one of those unlucky people) so I went in to get some information, geanna sterilized my ear, took it out. She cl...eaned it all for free. She kept my jewlery, is going to sterilize it , and in a few weeks, will get re pierced in a different spot for my ear. This is all for free. I also got my septum done there as well. Elise did mine, I love it so much. After a few months my one ball thing fell off. Went to thfy for a new one, spent 15 bucks for one and this was for them to put it in as well. It only lasted for about 6 hours. Went to gaslight and got 3 of them,they also put on in for free, this was a third of the price. I recommend them so much and will keep going to them for piercings, and for my first tattoo, that place is amazing. Highly recommend. Went to the Gaslight to get a new tattoo (and get my vertical labret re-pierced since it closed a year ago) as a walk in client, I got amazing service, really easy going vibe there. Mac got my idea sketched perfectly the first time, exactly as I described. Got everything set up and a hour later it was done. looks even better then I imagined. Perfect line work. And had a great chat the whole time. Probably my best tattooing experience yet! Mac's my go-to guy from now on. My vertical labret was done by Geanna and she suggested trying to taper it since the previous hole was very visible, and she stretched it back to a 16 gauge, apparently it was never closed at all, And she saved me money by doing so.
