Whole staff is professional, kind and skilled. Got 5+ tattoos there and every single time it was perfect from start to finish. Rian is my regular tattoo artist and she always goes above and beyond to make sure 1.im comfortable and relaxed and 2.satisfied with the quality of work. I have never left dissapointed and I always try and pre book my apts with her. The studio is always spotless, Bobbi at front desk is super helpful and friendly. Rian is amazing! Basically all I said to her was that I wanted a Rockhopper Penguin on my upper arm. She found a couple of pictures on google images and blended them together seamlessly to create a unique piece which I am absolutely in love with. Her photorealism skills are on point. It took roughly 6 hours including smoke breaks and the pain level was getting pretty high towards the end of the coloring. She smeared over some numbing antibacterial soap before going back in for the highlights and I couldn't feel a thing. Me & my sister got tattoos today with Rian. We both got similar, but slightly different tattoos memorializing our grandmother. Rian did a great job personalizing each tattoo and fleshing out what we wanted based on what we told her. She gave us her professional opinion about what would/wouldn't work and we were very happy with the result and had a wonderful experience! My friend Jo and I came here on a whim while on vacation to Montreal. I generally seek out lady tattoo artists, as it can be a hard industry to get by in for us, and when I saw this was female owned and operated, I had to try.Coming into the shop, you might not realize where you were. It's decorated beautifully, the whole staff was extremely friendly, and there was absolutely none of that judgey atmosphere you can so frequently find in shops. Special shout out to the woman at the front desk (whose name I forget I'm sorry!!) who communicated with us over an overly complicated and long email because we were foreigners that didn't have a telephone haha! It was a Saturday and we still got a walk in booking- though I believe normally they do appointments. Their minimum was only $60 as well!!Mae, our artist, stayed a little past close to finish up our tattoos. She was absolutely delightful, as was everyone I interacted with in the shop. All the artists are decorated in gorgeous tattoos, and their work spaces are as well. They even bring their dogs into work, who were so sweet! Jo and I were getting small tattoos and Mae was completely understanding about how picky we were about the little things. The front desk woman and artist worked with us for at least a solid 20 minutes or so getting our tiny designs perfect haha! She was very easy to chat with, and made sure to inform Jo that the blue she wanted wouldn't work as well as a black would- she helped her to pick out a darker blue instead as a compromise, and Joanna is insanely happy with hers. I'm so grateful I stumbled upon such a nice place. Definitely stop in if you're visiting or live in Montreal- I would recommend this place to everyone I knew. Read Less
