I've been wanting a tattoo for as long as I could remember. I've had some ideas but never took initiative to make it happen. A few week before a trip to Montreal, I started to look at some artists in Montreal. I came across Meghan at Private Tattoo. I really like her style and found an older tattoo that she had done. On a whim, I messaged her and she had availability while I was in town. I had told her in the message what I had liked and what I had in mind. Day off, she had sketched up the perfect tattoo. She was really sweet and the overall vibe of the place was comfortable. Everything was super clean! Meaghan obviously takes great pride in her work. The shading was very realistic. Megan Goeb did my mastectomy tattoo and it's so beautiful! She is very sweet and professional as well as an incredible artist. I really like the salon. Had a really cool experience there at Private tattoo , every worker I met was absolutely nice and listening carefully to what we wanted or how we wanted it to be , as I got my first tattoo the artist took greater care for 2 reasons ; assuring the quality of the work and making sure I was confortable ( making sure I wouldnt either pass out or couldn't tolerate the pain )The artists did awesome works on both myself and my gf , we had two different artist but got the same excellent quality + experience . Very talkative and friendly we had a good time chatting with them , price is on the average considering the quality of the work , they'll also provide free touch-ups after the tattoo healed of required which is an awesome service .5 star , can't find any problem there great tattoo shop with professional artists that provided an excellent service . I got my second tattoo here and can't say enough good things about Jonathan. In both cases, I did a lot of research because the point is to get something you will love day in and day out. Jonathan is both an artist and a professional. It's important to be both as you need the creativity and respect for art within the artist to ensure they bring the full beauty and possibility to your piece but you also need someone who is a professional - who can understand what you want from the tattoo and consequently, can know when to bold and or when to be a minimalist. Clean and intimate tattoo parlor on the plateau started up by Joe who usually works there along with one or two other artists.  Joe is friendly, accessible and versatile artist who's open to feedback. His work ethic is phenomenal. He'll power through long sessions, staying focussed on the piece.
