This is the best tattoo shop in Montreal. I have been going there for 4 years now and I will keep getting inked there till I run out of ideas. I really don't need to hype them up because their work speaks for itselft! My tattoo artists are Nick,Charles and Olivier, but the whole staff are equally amazing, it's really a preference of style. Fiona the owner is carring and passionate about her work , she takes her quality time to guide the customers to get the right artist and the best project. The best place in Montreal to get inked, hands down. My experience at imperial tattoo connexion was amazing. Fiona (the owner) is extremely nice and makes the whole process easy going. My artist (Olivier Desrochers) could not have done a better job with my tattoo. Every detail is spot on and exactly how I envisioned it. I had a project in mind that was immense and Intricate: a nebula drawn straight from an illustration book covering my heart with an added Maxwell's theory and a pulsar. My project was denied multiple times before I had tried Imperial Tattoo in Mtl. Fiona, the lovely owner of the establishment, had told me that the project was accepted and to come back for the meeting a month later. As I am not of Montréal, I spent my morning wandering church speckled streets and ate early at ...a pâtisserie. I was expecting the meeting to be simple discussion with the artist in retaion to the project and set an initial date to start the project. My meeting was at 12:00. I was at breakfast around 8 and went to the parlour at 11. I was told to come back at 13:00, I left and had tea. At 12:30 I was called and told that the artist was waiting for me as of 12:00. I hurried back to the scene and was tood that the tattoo would be done the same day. We discussed and what I was expecting to be a 1500+$ tattoo with 25+ hours of labour was reduced to a 380-540$/5hr job. I asked the artist David Coté if he felt confident in his project he firmly said yes and with that and the general zeitgeist of 4515 Clark street, I accepted the project. David is a very thoughful person and executes his job with tact. Compared to my first tattoo of metatrons cube on the back of my neck, this drawing was immensely painful. I was given chocolates to give me the energy a missed diner deprived me of. I was soothed by mantras coming from an iPad placed by my ear. At the end of the session, I was thrilled to see the end product. The colour game is seamless. I was also saddened at the thought of the original masterpiece I first imagined. I was brought back to Fiona who has a voice like gold and the perfect poise to be taking care of finance. I was charged 380$ for a top class job executed under a most stress free environment under the care of an artist I could be proud to call a friend. I will definitely be tattooed here again.
