This is the place you wanna go to get your haircut, lineup, fade, shave wtv you need... Nice atmosphere pool table nice vibe and music always playing! There's always sports playing with multiple screens and if you like soccer they've got all the games you can handle!!! Prices are really great and quality is on point... whether you take an appointment or walk in you'll be well treated in a hip trendy clean environment. Finally a barbershop that will not sacrifice standards and cleanliness and will also keep your wallet heavy stove they won't charge the exorbitant amounts you see nowdays and some other shops... keep up the great work!!! It’s a nice place, it’s designed to attract a younger customer basis. Depending on who is there you will be greeted. It’s important to at least be greeted and for someone to ask you what you want done and how long you will need to wait, for someone to tell you to take a seat and feel comfortable. That’s how you get business. And yes it’s true there’s people who are just hanging out there which can be a little intimidating if your not familiar with the place. My brother went there and they greeted him well and gave him an amazing hair cut and beard shaped and trimmed for 25$. But I have heard from others they did not get the same treatment. So 3 stars. I went here for the first time the other day and was basically rushed out of the chair before finished by my hairdresser (Anthony) because he had another customer. I was charged 35$ for my beard and hair cut (that's 10$ more than the max I've heard of at this shop and 15$ more than it is advertised on their board at the entrance). I tipped him 5$ because I'm a nice guy and I knew I'd want to come back next day when he had time to shorten the top. Also my beard was cut uneven so I needed that fixed also. I went back 2 days later when Anthony was back at the shop, he evened out the beard more decently (not to my liking though) and shortened my hair as I asked. He messed it up totally though and now I need to find another hairdresser to fix this mess. It's a nice fade job but totally horrible on the top and can't even trim a beard properly here. They don't' deserve ANY stars! I stepped in the barbershop for the first time potentially looking to be a customer based on the service and job performance.. I asked for a specific barber to cut my hair because I know exactly how I like it. This extremely RUDE barber told me that he didn't want to do my hair and for me to have one of the other guys do my hair. First off who does he think he is. He is a barber in Ville Saint Laurent. Been walking by this place for a couple years now and it's always packed. I decided to try it for the first time yesterday and let me say that I am not disappointed! Gomelo is very welcoming and pays attention to every detail. Haircut, beard and brows set me back 25$, very very reasonable in my opinion. Very clean place but that's about it. Service is just bad, actually it's beyond terrible. So I got there at 6:30 the guy tells me it's closed so I said Oh I am sorry should I leave, he asked me what I wanted to do so I said just a simple cut he said okay wait, 2 mins later he calls me like I am his dog and says because it's after hours I am gonna charge you 25$ for the cut.
