Every time I go there I leave with a good feeling! Chris is the best piercer in the city, and I trust him enough to have had him pierce my daughter's ears when she was about 5 months old. took a walk in. was able to give a price range of how much and honered the amount of money. took a bit longer but it was way better than i wanted done walking in. i was just going to stick with a flat 2D tattoo and with black and green. he shaded it vary well and used 3 greens on it! made it pop out like it should. got my moneys worth forsure! will be coming back for the next one :) Read Less

This shop is very clean and sanitary. The piercer is very thorough when explaining what he is going to do. He talks you through it and follows up with a very clear cleaning routine. You can pop in for check ups or help with changing the jewelry. The tattoo artists have books available with their work and are very friendly. Their work is amazing and definitely worth the visit. I took my Daughter to Black Sheep today to get her nose pierced. This was her very first piercing and she was a little nervous. Chris was very kind and had my Daughter feeling comfortable in no time at all. I cannot stress how impressed I am with how awesome Chris was with my Daughter. I got the diath piercing from Chris and have had a few issues with it (due to infection not his piercing ability), Chris has taken absolutely wonderful care of me! During the piercing he explained everything, was super relaxed and made me feel more comfortable, and was able to make it a super enjoyable experience. Since then I have had to go in twice to get it cleaned and taken care of and never did chris make me feel bad about it! Will never go to anyone else for piercings! 10/10!!! Read Less

I booked 3 months ago.. showed Cary a photo of what I wanted. I showed up today for my appt on time. He said he had to set the room up.. I wait one hr later I ask another staff where he is thinking he had taken a walk in.. I'm told he is drawing my design... he never told me he was doing this just setting up the room.. when I saw what he came up with I was not satisfied .. sub par.. totally not what I showed him.. he had 3 months to come up with something..I asked for my deposit back which I had to wait for 10 min for and left...no apology.. so unprofessional.. I went in for a consultation with Cary and he made me feel very uncomfortable and was really rude to me. I wanted my tattoo facing me, and he refused, claiming if I got another tattoo on the same arm it would look dumb to have them both 'upside down'. When I explained to him this is going to be my only tattoo because it's for my grandfather who died two years ago, he said he's heard that before and 'that's fine but I'm doing it the other way.' When I was canceling and getting my deposit back and I said I really want it facing me and would be looking somewhere else, he rolled his eyes at me and handed me my money without saying a word. Cary was extremely unprofessional when I went in looking to get a tattoo done. He had a time slot of 4 hours open the following day, I was looking for a smaller tattoo that would take maybe half an hour/an hour to complete, and he said it wasn't worth his time. He told me this after having me look through everyone's portfolio and spending almost an hour waiting to get something booked. I told him from the start what I was looking for, but not until after looking through every... portfolio and making my decision did he say it wasn't worth his time. He was very unprofessional and had a real attitude problem. I just took my little sister here to book her first tattoo. My sister was nervous obviously, and i thought that they'd be professional. I was SERIOUSLY wrong. Cary came out and said he couldnt do any of the tattoos she wanted (which is fine) but then he flustered her into another tattoo shes thought about but didnt want currently. The staff is awesome and you will always get a laugh when you are their. The tatto prices may be a bit higher then other places but you get what you pay for and at black sheep I always walk out happy. I highly recommend black sheep to anyone who is looking for a tattoo or a piercing. Read Less
