I was hoping to resolve this directly with Angela, but since she does not return phone calls or emails, I’m left with no choice. I originally purchased a Groupon for laser tattoo removal late 2016. Everything seemed to be going okay, but was a little disappointed that my tattoo wasn’t fading as fast as I would have liked. I’ve had another tattoo removed at another location, so I have a frame of reference. In early 2017, I received a confirmation email for a date that I did not book. I have a very strict schedule, and would never book appointments during times that are committed for prior engagements. When I called to get the problem taken care of, there was absolutely no sympathy, understanding or even a phone call from Angela, aplogizing for the mix up. I decided to go back and give them another chance, since I had pre-paid sessions that were non-refundable. The customer service was fine for awhile, but I still wasn’t happy with the results from the treatments. I did bring this to Angela’s attention, and she assured me that sometimes tattoos are more stubborn and just require more treatment. Last weekend I was scheduled for 2:45. Again, I have a tight schedule, and this worked. When I arrived, I was informed that my appointment was actually at 12:45, and Angela had left for the day. The receptionist was extremely rude, acting as though I had missed an appointment, which she thought I had. When I asked for my money back on my pre-paid treatment, because I had no intention of ever going back there, I was told no and that Angela would call me. It’s been almost a week later, and Angela still hasn’t called me. I emailed her salon, and didn’t get a response. The parking lot is so badly damaged, that driving through it is hazardous to your vehicle; Major pot holes that will do damage to your vehicle. I do not recommend this spa/salon at all, for any reason. The customer service is horrendous and their services are mediocre. Stay clear. ETA: For anybody looking for laser tattoo removal, I have found a reputable place in Scarborough. It’s a bit out of the way, but the treatment is performed by an actual dermatologist with a state of the art laser. He knows exactly what he’s doing, and there is even a Groupon available. Had a great experience with Body Bliss Beautique. Staff was extremely friendly and engaging. The location is a quaint, converted home with a lot of character, very warm and inviting atmosphere. When travelling to the spa, it could be easy to miss since it is surrounded by trees and in order to see the home, you must enter the driveway. Outside of the property there is a green sign along the road that says Brooklin Family Health Centre, that is where it is located. Told me I missed all 3 scheduled appointments and that I could not reschedule. I told them I left a VM to cancel the first and would call to reschedule subsequent. I was told someone would get back to me. Never heard from them again. It was a prepaid GroupOn. Read Less

I do not recommend this place to anyone, go somewhere else. I do not complain about Shannon who did my laser, she was very nice and professional. But every time when I was calling this place they never transferred me to Shannon or took a message. Every time the answer was the same "We do not pass messages. I can answer your questions. We are trained professionals". Yes, so well trained that when I phoned to re-book an appointment because I got a bladder infection and was taking an antibiotic, I was told with a tone of sarcasm: "And because of that you cannot come?" So I had to explain the "trained professional" that laser cannot be done when one is on an antibiotic as the laser can cause a burn. When Shannon left (I do not wander why), no one phoned to let me know about it. I just received an e-mail with a reminder about my appointment and instead of Shannon's name a saw a different name. I tried to phone the place many times to find out why the professional was changed and if I can choose someone else, no one answered the phone. Fortunately, this appointment was the last one as this new professional sucks. She did only half job of what Shannon was doing. I do not recommend this shop, a friend of mine went there for a spa day with her mom and had her appointment cancelled on her last minute because she "cancels appointments" all the time... The owners wouldn't even give her a full refund for their mani pedis and the owner was extremely rude to her. I do not recommend this shop. Read Less

Not even one star. 🖓 Body bliss has lost my business for good sadly due to their disrespectful owner Angela Vink and sister Adriana. I bought my mother and myself a spa day and waited months for them to be able to provide 3 staff on the weekend and was happy to be able to book this Christmas spa day on my mother's birthday this July (finally!!) I booked this appointment in person with the two staff that would be present in person a month in advance. My mother drove an hour for her and myself to go to this spa I so high recommended at one point to be told my appointment was cancelled because I was unable to confirm this appointment. I noted I recieved no messages or calls from them. I later find out they were calling from a number with the name Angela Vink which at the time I was unaware is the owner of the spa. I stated I did have 3missed calls from that number but did not recognize this number and had no messages and showed the staff that Saturday. At this point this staff Adriana started saying that I missed appointments all the time and that is why they cancelled because they felt I would be a no show. Adriana was very mouthy and disrespectful to the point my mother walked out and did not want any part of this spa. When stating I did not want to deal with a company like this and just wanted my spa packaged refunded so I can take my mom else where she stated the owner will call me Monday and return my money. At the end of several phone calls on my part and speaking with receptionist Courtney and manager Ashley who were very apologitic I recieved no true apology from the owner or the staff Adriana and in the end was told they will refund my mother's package and only the manicure for mine. I am very disappointed in the customer service had to go to star bucks that day to make up for their ignorance. An large century house on Brock is the home of Body Bliss. There are lots of rooms and it's not decorated like other spas. Mani, pedi and hair is on the main floor and the rest of the treatments are upstairs. I enjoyed that you take a short seminar prior to your first laser treatments. You learn what's going to happen and get to ask all of the questions you want; I did. The staff there are pleasant for the most part and don't make you feel rushed or like you're bothering them.The owner has been there every time I've been.There is a referral program too, so if you refer someone, you get a credit for 10% of their first treatment. I went there with a Groupon and if you want more treatments, it's the same price you paid on the Groupon. Nice! Read Less

This place has terrible customer service. I was browsing their website and there was no price list or list of services offered anywhere, which is bizarre considering everyone uses the Internet to search for what they want. When I emailed asking for a price list they repeatedly asked me what service I was interested in and then they could give me a price. I honestly asked 3-4 times for a price list explaining I didn't know what service I wanted but I wanted to see what they offered. After the 4th time they seemingly argued with me about wanting a list of services they finally sent it over. Sorry to say but their prices are almost double from what ive seen anywhere else. Since I have a gift certificate I figured I might as well use it so reluctantly I called to book a service where I was told they will have to see if they can "call someone in" for my desired appointment time, and they would call me back to confirm. Well I never got a call back, in fact I'm still waiting.This place has terrible customer service! I wish I could blame it on the fact I have a gift certificate but I never even got around to telling them that before they couldn't give a crap about my business. I've been for 7 hair removal treatments and haven't noticed anything yet.
