Jays shop is amazing! We have had great experiences going to get my husbands memorial tattoo done. We brought our young daughter with us and they made all of us feel welcome and like family. We got the chance to meet his children and wife which made our experience even better as our children got colouring paper and played together making wait time for my husband go by quickly. The atmosphere there is layed back and welcoming. There is lots of laughing and joking which makes for a great experience. Jays shop is in a quiet area with alot of parking so no issues if you drive, the shop is clean and comfortable with lots of books full of designs to browse through. I had a piece on me that looked hideous BEFORE I went to see Jay....people would comment & say things like "who butchered your shoulder"....so I made a post on FB saying I wanted to get it covered up...I had been told by other tattooists that "it can't be done...not without skin graphing"....Jay signed up for the challenge & WOW! He nailed it! Pfffftttttt.... Jay's work is outstanding when I see it on other people, he does insane flawless work, but for some reason chooses to keep it away from me. Lmao. He uses old school coils for that real tattoo experience, its not only music to my ears, its music you can see, no i'm not on drugs, it's the only way to explain it. If you've never been tattooed before, they make it easy going and understanding. If your a seasoned vet, then make no mistake you ain't anyone special unless Jay has put a piece on y'all. Got my 3rd and 4th pieces done today and I must say, the service was beyond what I have ever received. I have been to the Older shops around Waterloo-Kitchener and to be honest, most of the established places lack the professionalism and care I received here.
