I recently decided to get my fourth tattoo and was looking for a new tattoo shop, I came across Raro and could not say enough great things about the staff here. I sent in what I wanted and received a quote for my tattoo, when I arrived at the shop the staff was extremely welcoming! The artist I got to work with was Alex! He made the entire process seamless and made sure I was 100% comfortable the entire time he was tattooing. He copied the image I wanted identically as well as gave suggestions on what he thinks would look best for long term which I much appreciated! I've always wanted a tattoo and recently decided that I was going to have one done. I visited several places and asked lots of questions regarding the process, cleanliness, designs, pain, duration, etc. As a newbie I was looking for someone to take time to make me feel comfortable. Adi was the only one from the places I visited that really took time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable with the process. We had unfortunately bad tattoos from a former employee. I Spoke to Lisa and she had us come in and and see Jesse. 1 star for the worst customer service ever! Just paid $300 for lettering and a small bee tattoo. The mistake I made was paying before the work was done so I could not walk out and leave my money. Adi has no customer service skills at all. First he traced some letters that were all jumbled and look tacky like an inmate was passing time on me. I told him I did not like it and wanted them to be more space-out. He had a fit! The audacity of me knowing what I want, and dare to express it. All because he does not want to take the time to trace the letters over to satisfy his customer?! So after I finally insist on making the letters a little larger with space in-between he wanted to charge me an extra $100 plus tax to put space in-between the letters. I try to explain that it is same word, it is only longer because of the space between each letter. It was bad enough I paid $300 for 7 letters plus a bumble bee. I don't mind the money as long as I love what I paid for. The letters are not position the way I want it because of his bad attitude about the spacing, I opt out to settle for what I didn't want. I wanted the letters to spell down my side, not so that you have to turn your head sideways to read it. Moral of the story is do not pay first, so that if they are not willing to give you what you want, you can walk out. I think he is a good artist, but for his attitude you can have a better experience elsewhere, and get exactly what you wanted. I would not recommend ADI, and I would not go back! Finally decided this year to get my second tattoo design. Very simple, yet it took 3 years to properly decide.  This place is unique because they can use cremated remains of a loved one in the ink as part of the tattoo.  I mixed a bit of my late cat and dog's ashes together to form the set of Roman numerals to represent 2012.  MMXII will always mean something to me only because both pets passed away that year 2 weeks apart.  Tim did my tattoo and made me feel relaxed even though I was silently freaking out because I haven't had a tattoo done in years! I managed to sit through the half hour it took, but I felt faint upon standing up.  He was helpful to follow me outside and handed me a bottle of water and waited a little while until I said I was OK to go.  Tattoos represent something important to me and I am glad I made the decision to come here and get one done. I went to Raro Tattoo for my 4th tattoo and I was super impressed with Jesse and the tattoo he designed for me. The whole experience was great. The tattoo shop was spotless. Jesse was very professional and delivered exactly what I had requested. He did an add-on to an existing tattoo and Jesse made the transition seamless and smooth. If you're looking to get your first tattoo or wanting to add more to what you have, Raro tattoo shop is a great place to go to. I had gone to many tattoo shops and all of them were unable to understand what I exactly wanted until I went to raro and talked to one of the tattoo artists names Tim. He drew out exactly what I wanted and explained the process to me step by step even though it wasn't my first tattoo. He also went through his experience as a skilled tattoo artist which allowed me to trust him with inking my skin permanently. Their prices obviously depend on what you're getting, the size and detail of course but all their tattoos have a base price of $80 which includes the price of needles, ink, etc. I had gotten the word Nirvana written in sanskrit on my ribs. It's a small tattoo so I ended up paying only $80.. Also this place is super clean and professional and does not stink of weed unlike some of the other tattoo shops I went to.
