EXTREMELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. got a back tattoo done by al that he didn't have time to complete. i gave him the money for the price of the tattoo anyway since i trusted that he would finish the rest no problem. told me to come back within a month and that he'd finish it up for no extra cost. came back and tried to charge me TRIPLE the amount i paid for the original tatttoo just to finish inking in the rest. i am DISGUSTED. never have i come across such a money hungry individual. went somewhere else to finish the rest of the tat for JUST 60 bucks. you can never win when you play DIRTY. 4-5 years ago, I had work done by Al. At that time he was at another shop. Last week, I was on the hunt once again. This time I was looking for a great shop for my girlfriend. Basically, I wanted to get her a tattoo as her bday gift. I was looking through some sites and BAM! there was Al once again but now at a new shop. Needless to say, I was so relieved. I sent him an email and he was super prompt in getting back to me. He let me know that he owns and runs Lucky Dog and that they would be more than happy to help out. I told my girlfriend and she sent me the pictures of what she wanted (Dream catcher on her thigh) and I sent it off to Al. Al got back to me and let me know that Krissy would be the one who will be doing the tattooing. I was instantly disappointed as I had no idea of who Krissy was or what she has done in the past. Considering tattoos are for life, I was hoping that Al would be the one to do my girlfriend's work. I talked to Al and he let me know that everyone in his shop is great and they all do fantastic work. Honestly, if anyone other than Al told me that, I would not believe them at all. Al is extremely trustworthy so I took his word for it....needless to say, I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL AND AL WAS 10000000000% RIGHT!! We showed up and Krissy was simply amazing! Her art work is so clean and her freehand skills are amazing. She takes pride in her work and it shows. Everyone at the shop was amazing to be honest. While my girlfriend was getting inked, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kevin and Trish. Both are super amazing people. I believe it is safe to say that my girlfriend and I have now found our regular tattoo shop. If you have not gone to Lucky Dog Tattoo and are considering to do so, I can guarantee you that you will not regret it! Thanks again guys for all your help. I had the great pleasure of meeting Krissy this week and she did a great job on my tattoo. Everything from my original walk-in to the shop to completion of the tattoo was great - knowledgeable, friendly, and funny staff; clean and cozy space, reasonable prices, quality work. I gave some general ideas of what I was looking to get and Krissy drew a great piece for me. Her free-style water color was especially noteworthy and I'm already getting tons of comments on how vibrant it is. Initially I had given this place great reviews since I thought everyone was amazing and since my tattoos were covered I thought they had done an excellent work. When the tattoos healed I realized that I had gotten the worst tattoo of my life. Trish did a cover job on my chest. Not only you can still see the old tattoo, the new tattoo itself looks faded and old. The worst tattoo job ever. I sent an email to Trish a while back and told her how unhappy I was with the tattoo; she... did offer to do a touch up job. But there is no reason why I have to go through the pain again for her incompetence. Anyways. she asked me to go to the parlour at 3.30pm on a Monday. Monday being a work day I told her I wasn't able to make it. O May 16th I sent her an email asking when she would touch up my tattoo? And she never responded to my email. Today I sent her a follow-up email and she said she didn't know she was supposed to respond to something. Whereas I had clearly highlighted my email from May 16th. Wow Trish, great work. Not only the tattoo looks super old and faded, even the lines aren't straight. Also the some of the writing on the tattoo on my ribs looks bad. I had also sent Trish pictures of some other tattoos and asked her to draw something unique for me about 3 months back. And guess what, I haven't received anything from her till date, except excuses. I had given them 5 stars, now I am sure I'd give it 0 stars if possible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I will update this if I hear back from them... Posting as Kristina, not Lynne. I have posted my tattoo up, probably before I should as it's still covered and oozing, but I couldn't wait to review the shop. Al, along with his staff, they're great people. They make getting a tattoo enjoyable. Al is great at multitasking, working on my tattoo and conducting an interview, he does it well as you can see. I have nothing bad to say, the shop itself isn't very disabled friendly, but they helped me where needed, so I won't complain. Krissy is amazing and she is such a pleasure to talk to. The hours did not drag on because it was great conversation :) she's a great artist as you can tell from her work! She's very informative about everything, she knows what she is doing, very knowledgeable, everything's clean. Shes very professional and you just automatically feel comfortable with her. Also very caring, you can ask her anything you have concerns about but I'm sure she would have already covered it! I love her and I am obsessed with my new tattoo!!!!!! Overall great environment, the other artists were very friendly too! And I seen the work they were doing and it looked really good. I recommend for anyone looking to get some work done. Lucky Dog Tattoo is awesome!!! Myself, my wife and our friends all have been tattooed there and have always left completely satisfied and utterly content with all the work that has been done!! Al covered up two very ugly old tattoos for me with stunning artwork and a skill that is top notch!! My wife has been in four times in the past 3 months and has been tattooed by both Al and Trish multiple times and is constantly showing them off to anyone who will look!! At Lucky Dog they make you feel like family and have never been anything but professional, artistic and cost effective!
