Have been looking at a particular design for a year now and I went to numerous parlors prior to getting my first tattoo at Hon Tattoo. Some of the parlors replied but never got the job done (to-date) others didn't reply. Hon was quick to reply to all my queries, consultation took 5 mins, appointment was as per my preferred time and the tattoo artist (Johnny) is amazing at his art. I was shown three sizes of the tattoo (a Farohar), complete with stencils so I could decide on the exact placement and size. Very little pain involved and I was done in 40 mins tops. The tattoo looks amazing and intricate in detail. My tattoo was properly taped with clear, surgical tape (not cling film) and most friends who have seen it want the same tattoo. I visited the downtown location on college, and I’m extremely happy with the work to say the least. Ct did two new tattoos for me and they are absolutely stunning! I had an amazing experience getting a cover -up tattoo at Hon Tattoo. The artists made sure that I got exactly what I wanted. My artist, Vicky did an amazing job with my tattoo - she is a very talented artist who takes her work very seriously. The atmosphere is super laid-back and everyone is very friendly, which I think is so important for any business. My tattoo wasn't very overpriced and I am happy with it. I would highly recommend this tattoo studio for anyone looking to get a tattoo! The only thing is that I would make sure to communicate to your artist in a clear and straightforward manner as English is not their first language but this is not a big issue. At first very nice. They booked me promptly and came back with a sketch in a timely fashion. On the day of the master shark took his time and paid attention to detail. His confidence was very relaxing. By this he was confident in his work so it eased your mind. The issues started when I wanted to do a touch up which was free within the first 3 months after getting your tattoo. After 2 weeks I noticed a line missing on mine and requested an appointment. This took over 2 weeks for a reply and the date was booked outside of the 3 months on a random weekday. I replied back asking to see if there were any other time slots. No response. So big pieces they are good in overall service it's just when the come to their promises of a touch up is where things get sketchy. Read Less

Kind of dropped the ball for communication at first so I was wary, but as soon as I expressed my feelings about it they were more than accommodating, and assured me they would "make up for the delays with a great tattoo"... and they BY FAR delivered just that. I was treated very kindly, scheduled in for an appointment that fit my busy work schedule, and was given the best tattoo I've ever gotten (I have 7 now from various shops). The artist TK designed the exact thing I had in mind, and made sure I was happy and comfortable every step of the way. I love my new tat and will absolutely be returning to expand on it. Read Less

The atmosphere is good. The staff are very friendly. CT did my tatoo. However, this being my first tattoo, I didnt receive any after care instructions and they didn't check if I signed everything  on the waiver. As days  went by I had to frequently call or email them to explain  problems I had with after care or to know if parts of my healing process was normal.I went for a touch up and even after the touch up ( its been 6 months since the touch up) I still see empty spots or rather areas that haven't been touched up properly. Areas that were worked on the most during touch up still have a scarred look to it.After my first tattoo experience here,  I would probably go to a different place for my next one. Read Less

Had the opportunity to get my half sleeve by Shark, he was very professional and very kind when working on my arm. He also had a very radiant and positive outlook on life and through his good spirits created a good ambiance in the location which help aid to receive over 8 hours of work. After looking at their IG account I noticed a trend with the artist TK on how precise and fine line his work is. So I started to follow his account too and you can see how amazing this guy truly is. All of the details he put into my piece is just beautiful. I'm in awe with what he did and I get compliments all the time. I came back for my second forearm piece and I'm defiantly coming back for more. Nice location (lots of parking at the mall) and the shop is spacious/clean. After 20 yrs I took the plunge and got my first ink! Shark truly is a master artist who is gifted with this skill. He took my vision and brought it to life. I have multiple tattoos done by multiple artists. I have been looking for years for someone with the skill to complete my large pieces. I have found that guy! I was in Hon Tattoo Studio this past weekend at a charity event they were hosting and I was fortunate enough to have Shark tattoo me. He is so talented! He will definitely be seeing me again.
