Terrible. I walked in the door and they were eating pizza openly in the area where a girl was getting a piercing. The tools they used were outdated and literally rusty and also not meant for piercings. In fact, he used a monkey wrench to remove my ring lol. The staff was nice but incredibly young. They also charged me $10 to remove my own jewelry and said it would cost another $10 to put it back in!!! I had them remove it because I was in a rush but did not hesitate to go to Toronto to my favourite place to have them put it back in at no cost. I watched a lot of people get tattooed here and saw so many interesting and unique pieces. The piercings are done well too, Kris (the head piercer) knows his stuff. Each artist at the shop has their own flare to add to the customer's idea. Zack does killer skulls. I always enjoy my time at depression ink, because I'm in the presence of legitimate tattoo artists that know what they are doing and care about both the customer and the craft. If you come in while Luke is around, you can go through his huge book of flash sheets and pick one you like. Hopefully you will also get to hear Warren's hilarious stories too. All in all, you will be in the presence of 4 great, amazing people - all of whom will gladly assist you in leaving the shop with a smile on your face. My husband, father and I have all been tattooed here many times and we absolutely love it. It is our favorite place to go by far. The guys who work there are all extremely talented and gifted in their field. I was just tattooed yesterday by Zack and it was an incredible experience. I've had two tattoos done so far by Luke and a couple of piercings by Kris. Both shops are very clean and everyone is friendly. I'm older and I'm amazed how quickly both my tats healed, and no scabbing! Luke really listened to what I wanted and I get a lot of compliments on my ink. My piercings were a piece of cake and have healed beautifully. Even their bathrooms are cleaned! I would recommend this shop to anyone considering getting a tatoo/piercing. Read Less

Got my first tattoo done here, sent the artist a picture of my drawing, he told me the price. Very reasonable price, not expensive compared to other quotes I got. The artist was very nice & helpfully. Highly recommend 10/10. Tattoo came with 1 year warranty to get re-touched up if it started to fade away. It's was my first time going. I always have wanted a tattoo since 14 and when I saw their website, did my research I was very happy. The artist that did my lovely tattoo he was amazing, constantly kept in touch with me making sure the design was the way we wanted it to be, was very patient with me during the tattoo process and during my recovery he was very active when I asked him about anything with tattoos.
