Can't say much for their tattooing but their business skills are definitely a one star. Put down a $60 deposit, went in for my tattoo, and it wasn't booked. Of course I didn't keep the receipt so I lost the money. If you're ok taking the gamble with your money give them a try, if you want top notch service AND great art, I now go to Fantality the next street over. I went in to get my nose pierced (not my first piercing) and they did a great job!!!! I only had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes and the piercing was quick and painless. If you want any piercings done I recommend going here, tony did a great job and my piercing is healing quickly Read Less

Had a memorial tattoo done in my brother's honour. An absolutely fantastic experience. Not only did the tattoo itself exceed my wildest hopes, but what could have been a sad day was actually a true celebration of my brother's life. I've only gotten tattoos from Brett and mike and they're incredible, I moved away and got a couple tattoos and they don't even compare to the work I've gotten at mikes! Everyone is so talented and it's such a fun place to be! Tony is also the best piercer I have ever met, still helps me with all of my questions even though I don't live there anymore. Very mixed reviews about Mike's, whenever anyone is looking to get a piercing i highly recommend Mike's, Tony is an amazing piercer and provides sanitary and friendly service! If you are looking to get a tattoo at Mike's i recommend you go in ahead of time and talk to the various artists there, if you just go for a walk-in they often give your work to an apprentice so you are not guaranteed the best tattoo they can provide. Tony is amazing! I was way over thinking getting a tongue piercing and i went in and he eased my fears about it and litterally it was done in 2 mins and didn't hurt at all! Still not pain! Tony is an amazing piercer! After my first piercing I broke out in a rash from the aftercare routine and I was given great advice how to manage it and an alternative cleansing routine. The people here are very friendly and very willing to help. They don't over charge you here, the prices are very fair. They are not overly cheap, but hey, do you really want a cheap tattoo? Getting piercings there is always a pleasant experience, and they cost a fair amount. I went there to have my nose ring put in again because the hole had healed of over, and even though he had to re-pierce it, he only charged me for the new stud. First tattoo of my life at 47 so I don't have anything to compare it to, but the service my wife (also done!) and I received was excellent. Walk in and was booked for later the same day. The place was packed with a wide range of people so we were happy to get an appointment. About an hour ahead, we received a cheery call asking if we could come later, which was appreciated. Everything was professional, clean and efficient. We both had a great time. Celebratory wine at le Petit Bar across the street should be mandatory, but I'm showing my age.
