Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a tattoo here, but this review is based on why I didn't and my short experience there. Came in with my sister-in-law and spoke to the young girl at the counter with dark short hair. I showed her what I wanted and she told me it wasn't able to be done because of the size. I understood to an extent, but the size they wanted me to get seemed a little extreme and like they wanted me to pay more. I told her I'd think about it while my sister-in-law stated what she wanted. They told her yes and about the pricing when all of a sudden when the tattoo artist arrives, she says to him, "Can I have 2 seconds over there?" And they go to talk really quick only to come back and say, "Sorry, but you'll have to reschedule." We just stood there confused and politely told them that wasn't going to work for us but thank you anyway. I also want to add that I called not only the day of, but the day before trying to make an appointment and they specifically told me they take walk-ins when clearly from our experience they don't or...?? The person who does piercing was also not there so I think it really was just not meant to be. Read Less

Overall great experience! All of the staff there were polite and knowledgeable and actually very quick and efficient too! The receptionist helped us with design ideas, and spoke with us about aftercare. Trevor was my artist and he was amazing. He was kind and patient, extremely gentle and was great at answering all my questions. He made me feel comfortable because he knew I was nervous. My best, fastest, and easiest piercing experience ever. I am a rather impulsive person, so I randomly decided that I wanted to pierce my nose and my nipple. Luckily, it was a Monday, and the deal was 2 piercings for $55CAD, which is an amazing price for piercings, especially for Rideau Street, downtown Ottawa. I went upstairs, and there was no waiting. Kip took me right in and sat me down. He pierced both my nose and my nipple in less than 5 minutes. It was quick, and not as painful as I thought. He pierced it so well, that my nose and my nipple were by far my easiest piercings, and I have 11 total. I would definitely recommend coming here for all your piercing needs! Was a awesome place. WAS, what happened? Called ahead 2 weeks before to make an appointment for me and my sister to get our triple helix pierced for a Saturday the 3 for $100 deal. Drove from out of town (hour and a half) to get there on the day of the appointment only to be told the piercer took the day off work randomly. Nobody called us to let us know about any cancellation and they didn't even apologize. Went down to living colour and got it pierced, and they did a great job!
