I had lots of fun for the 5 hours I hung out with James and the team. They're very friendly and treat everyone who comes in the door like family. To top it off, the tattoo looks great! I got tattooed 3 years ago. The shop is supposed to honour it's touch up policy. I tried several times to schedule an appointment but it never worked out for several reasons. The first time was because they had moved and never notified me. The next couple times was because my artist kept making up excuses as to why she couldn't take me. The shading was very sloppy and the line work was not solid. The artist also didn't think it need touching up. Last time I checked the customer is always right. The owner of the shop is also very rude and did not make me feel comfortable at all. I would not ever recommend this shop to anyone ever. Literally one of the worst shops I have ever dealt with. Everyone here is really talented, and I just love the vibe of being in a place where the creativity is just flowing like crazy! I got a piece by Pat..he's a really nice guy who's professional and super talented. My tattoo looks great, it healed faster than anything I've gotten so far, and I feel really honoured to be wearing art from this shop. I feel like I don't need to look further than Blue Blood for future tattoos- this place has it all. Don't be intimidated by the fact that it's a "custom shop"...especially compared to shops around the city, it is very reasonably priced with exceptional quality. First of all the place is hidden. Then when I finally found it. And had a chance to speak with some one about my tattoo designs they tried to steer me in a different direction completely. I came here for my first tattoo, I gave James a simple clipart geometric rose I got off google images and he made it a million times better. The drawing was beautiful and the colours he chose were perfect. I was able to hold my boyfriend's hand while James was doing the tattoo and he let me know how much more was left to do as it was on my hip so I couldn't see and he also let me reposition if I got uncomfortable. Called with a specific idea that I really wanted And would of been a whole back tattoo. Was told I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in your idea? Pardon? Don't be fooled by the exterior, or the neighborhood. The inside of this shop is beautiful- decorated with the artists original drawings and new and sterile equipment. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming with none of the typical snobbery that can be easily felt at other tattoo shops.
