Want to be able to take my daughter in there to get her ears pierced for her birthday except I just heard you vape inside your shop (which is illegal when minors are allowed in your shop btw) you say your minimum age for piercing ears is 3, so which is it? Over the age of 19 because you allow vaping or all ages because you say you’re able to pierce minors (with consent obviously). Take your pick! I won’t support a business that can’t draw that line in the sand. Besides you sh...ould be providing a sterile environment for tattooing AND piercing and yet you have people vaping inside. It’s pretty simple you should be allowing it indoors where minors are able to be. I recommend your business to everyone who wants to get pierced so it saddens me when stuff like this happens. Be careful purchasing body jewellery at this shop. Quality is awful. Purchased a tongue ring ... within a few days the ball broke in half and all the paint had come off both balls. Very poor quality jewellery and staff brushed it off as no refunds or returns. I didn't want it returned! Replacing poor quality merchandise is generally a way to keep customers. I took my 6 year old in to get her ears pierced for her birthday as well as my nose. Julia was absolutely amazing! After getting the first ear done my daughter didn't want to do the second one. After a long struggle to try to get her to just do it, about an hour to be exact, we ended up leaving with my nose done and her one ear. Julia was so great with her, very patient and calm, which I definitely was not! We ended up going back in the next day to get the other side done, ag...ain with a bit of a struggle, but we finally succeeded. I would recommend anyone who needs a piercing or wants to get their child's ears done to go and see her. She was fantastic and after all of the fighting yesterday and today my daughter couldn't be happier! I've always loved just walking around in here since I was in early high school. I browse around a lot and will buy little things here and there, and the staff have been nothing but helpful and sweet every visit. Now that I live in Orangeville, I booked my second tattoo at the store and am anxiously waiting until March for my real appointment. My absolute favourite place to go for piercings and tattoos. My aunt and I went in to get our cartilage pierced together and the second we walked in someone was immediately helping us. I normally get my piercings done by Becky but after finding out she doesn't work there anymore I was a bit nervous to have someone else pierce me, but the new girl who works there was awesome! She was super nice and extremely helpful when it came to finding the best spot on my ear to pierce, she was also as gentle as anyone could possibly be while ramming a needle through you ear. Stopped in yesterday to look at piercing jewelry for a few current piercings and to see if a piercer was available to ask some questions about a septum piercing. The front end staff was friendly, patient and knowledgeable in helping me select jewelry and offered that if their piercer had time, that she could even change out my current piercings for me. To my surprise, and maybe a bit of terror, not only did Julia have time to change out my 3 other piercings, but also to pierc...e my septum right then if I wanted to. I'd wanted a septum piercing for at least 15 years but heard it was extremely painful and had been too scared all this time to do it. Julia was friendly and chatty and made me feel much more at ease as we changed out my other piercings (one that was pretty difficult to get the new jewelry into). She told me what was going to happen every step of the way for my septum piercing, gave me simple and clear aftercare instructions and provided excellent customer service all the way through, which some other tattoo/piercing studios really seem to forgo in favor of 'being cool'. I’m currently sitting in my car in complete and utter disbelief... today I decided to get my daith pierced... I have been suffering with chronic migraines since I was a child. I booked my appointment on April 21st, to be done June 4th, and gave my inspiration picture for what I wanted for a half sleeve tattoo. The wolf in my inspiration picture needed to be changed to a realistic one and I was told I would get a drawing soon so the artist and i could work together to make any necessary changes before my appointment almost a month and a half away. So here's where the problem starts! My appointment is for Sunday, 2 days away, and I'm finally contacte...d by the artist only to find out that "he's really swamped" and the drawing won't be ready until the day of my appointment.... so I'm expected to go in on my appointment and see the drawing for the first time and permanently ink it on my body with zero time to OK it or make adjustments... I'm sorry, but this is something that will be on my body for my entire life, being swamped is no excuse when there was a month and a half to prepare. This is the first time I've ever rated a business 1 star, so I apologize in advance..but I feel my experience warrants it. Called this morning at 11am to make an appointment for a nose piercing at 6:30pm the same day. Spoke with a pleasant sounding girl who took my full name, phone number and birthdate. She told me the piercer had appointments between 7 and 8pm but 6:30 would work out. She asked if I wanted my nose pierced with a stud or hoop and I specified hoop. She then co...nfirmed all information and told me I was booked for 6:30 that day. I was running a bit behind that evening and called to say I would be 5 minutes late, which was when the shitshow started. A male answered and had no idea who I was and that I wasn't listed on their schedule for that evening..he then transferred me to the piercer who said she had someone else booked at 6:30, and wouldn't have time to pierce me unless I was willing to settle for a stud instead of a hoop. (Wtf?) Considering I drove close to 30 minutes, had rearranged my entire evening and paid extra for a babysitter to watch my 2 year old twins early, saying I was disappointed is a severe understatement. I went to Altered Native to have my daith pierced today, it is an odd section in your ear and most piercers don't do it. Becky pierced my ear and she was absolutely fantastic, she explained the whole process to me before she even touched me, she made me comfortable and walked me through the whole thing as it was happening. Had a great experience the other day when I went to get my tattoo. The entire place was extremely clean and organized and I was greeted immediately by both retail workers. I had both of my kids waiting with my husband while I got my tattoo and the staff was interactive with them and friendly. Lisa did my tattoo and it was amazing.
