First off, I have to say I love my new tattoo and everything about my experience at Deluxe. I took a chance, at 10:00 at night, the day before Christmas Eve and messaged the shop, inquiring about their hours on December 24th. I got a prompt reply and booked an appointment for the next day! Polly took my idea and brought it to life! His design and suggestions for placement put me right at ease. I've gotten tattooed twice so far once by lefty and once by Jessi. Amazingly friendly people reassuring and very knowledgeable about what they do which is always nice. Both my tattoos healed perfectly.and were exactly what I wanted. Also my boyfriend got his first tattoo done here as well and said it was an amazing first experience. I've been to one other tattoo shop but since meeting Jessi and lefty I will go no where else but deluxe. Such an amazing experience and place and people :) They make you laugh and feel at home while getting either pierced or tattooed. I always leave deluxe with a smile on my face. I would like to say first off the apprentice tattoo artist "Lefty" is an amazing artist and is awesome to work with. 5 stars for her. ����� As for the shop owner "Polly Hatter" absolutely pathetic, I can't believe I paid 400$ for two low quality Japanese warrior faces on my upper shoulder. Looks like a black blob with faces in it. Edges aren't rounded nicely and the outline for the temple underneath is garbage. Lines aren't straight and looks like a 10 year old drew it. After... asking to finish it, he said sure come in for 12:30 in front of his whole staff and it was suppose too be for free, then he has the balls to message me the night before saying he can't finish it without any money. What a fucking JOKE & the way he talks to clients is so unprofessional. I will never ever be back after this. I recommend saving your money and going to Lefty or to a Tattoo shop down south in the city. See More Read Less

I got my nostril pierced by Jenni1Punch May 24, 2012. She did a fantastic job! This was the third time getting my nostril pierced over the last 7 or so years due to taking it out for jobs. I knew what to expect obviously, but she still explained everything. I had about 8 different nose screws to choose from, which is quite impressive. A lot of places you get maybe 2 to choose from. The whole procedure took less than 10 minutes, and she was very professional. This studio is nice and clean, and she is up-to-date on her piercing knowledge and cleaning instructions. She was also knowledgeable about health and safety concerns, which I asked about, seeing as I am a nurse. We discussed how more people should be concerned about transmittable diseases in a piercing establishment and how she is concerned more don't ask about this.Overall, spectacular experience. I'd go back to Jenni in a heart beat. Prices are reasonable and essentially the same as any other place I have been. Your standard $60 for a nostril piercing which includes the jewelry.I definitely recommend this place for piercings. They have been open about 3.5 years. Read Less
